mike, our prayers are with your wife, and with you.

Love is the best medicine, and it sounds like she's got lots of it to get her thru this. I know its not easy to be so far away from your spouse when they're so sick (been there, done that), but you'll survive it.

divorced - April 2010 moved back to Ontario May 2010 and surrendered green card

Mike.. Sending our prayers for both of you . .

She may be far.. but knowing she is getting the best treatment for what you have offered is some of the best medicine.. for you .. for her.. give her your love.. pass along all of our love from here at VJ.. Prayers can do amazing things.. ..

keep positive.. you will be by her side soon.. for now. close your eyes you are there. look to your heart.. send your love..

awwwwwwww Mike..I'm such a sap anyway, so pay me no mind but I just have tears reading this...relief for you basically, and the fact that you've been going through all this and haven't said a word. It really puts life in perspective when thinking of all the little bumps(that may not seem so little until you read something like this)in the road we may have faced and/or are facing. At least you know (as much as you CAN know) on good authority that she's going to be fine now...I can't imagine how relieved you must be. All the very best to you and will keep you both in our thoughts. (F) Take care, M &C

Thank you all for your kind thoughts. She still has the headaches, but seem to less severe everyday.

Her cloresteral went up to over 400. This can be fatal if not treated. Now mind you that this is a 5'0" woman who weighs maybe 100 lbs.

They placed two stents in her veins, and overnight it went down to 150.

Im sure that everything will be OK and cant wait to have her back.

My older son is getting married in Cabo San Lucas Mexico in early June, and we will be there for the wedding.

Cant thank you guys enough..now dont make me cry again.

I finally got rid of the never ending money drain. I called the plumber, and got the problem fixed. I wish her the best.

I really hope everything will be okay, I cannot nearly imagine how much you want to be by her right now and I say if you can't stand it, just book a flight over there to see how she is. Sometimes it is important to see and hear it yourself to make sure she's fine.

I will pray for the two of you and hope that everything will go as well as the doctors say it will.

Good luck to you and try to be strong! I know it is hard and it crushes your heart. I remember how I felt when my little sister was diagnosed with leukemia 3 years ago at the age of 12. It was like the world went dark. But treatment today is good and chances are better than ever. My sister is fine now again and I hope the same will happen with your wife.
