I thought that I would post a little about my wife without going into boring details.

We married in January. Shortly afterwards she started gettin sever headaches, ear infections, loss of vision, unable to eat, etc. Finally the doctors here suggested that she should return to Spain since all of her medical records are there, and she has had a previous bout with cancer years ago.

She left the US without having AP yet, but the US Consulate has been great, and will issue her any document that she may need to return. Her AP did show up so I sent her the papers.

My worst fears happened when they found something on her brain. I couldnt get any straight information, so I sent a lawyer over to find out what was happening, and to take her finl will nd testment. He told me that she does have a tumor, but it could easily be operated on with laser micro-surgery. Her son is in the military there and arranged for a military flight to med evact her to a special clinic in Barcelona.

They need 3 independent decision from different doctors before doing anything. The second was a German doctor who didnt speak Spanish, but he thinks that it is easily treatable. One more this week and whatever is going to happen will happen.

So far we are 80,000 into the process. My insurance company is going to have a cow when I submit the bills. What they dont pay, I deduct from next years taxes including the air travel.

Her two kids have been with her and have been absolutely great. Im ready to leave tomorrow if necessary, but they dont think that there is a need right now.

She will be back on the 17th of May. It has been a rough rough month for me and her family, but there must be some higher power out there that I pray to that has the final say, and has answered them.

I just know now that she will be OK and will be back.

Mike

I finally got rid of the never ending money drain. I called the plumber, and got the problem fixed. I wish her the best.

Mike,

I am sorry to hear that your lovely wife has been sickly but from what your said it looks very promising for her treatment. I will add a special prayer for you and your family. I also ask GOD to give you strength to carry on and find comfort in family, friends and faith if you believe.

Mary
