San Francisco to give illegal aliens ID cards

On the flip side it would be a stroke of genius to go in offering this, get a bunch of locations of illegals, then pack them up in little crates (oh with holes and food and toilets of course, maybe some Dish tv, jacuzzi even?) and send them back from whence they came. But I suppose that would be too harsh for the bleeding hearts. Boo. hoo.

It'll never happen. This country is still mostly good, people like you are the exception.

lol "people like you" That's rich. You mean people who like me who work two jobs, own my own home, own my own vehicle, pay taxes, raise my children to work hard, respect authority, be decent, honest, young men. People like me who go out of their way to volunteer within my community. People like me who are fed up of people sucking the life out of this country. Yes thank heavens there aren't more people like me around. Maybe things would actually get done in this country.

Those sucking the life out of this country, are not illegal immigrants. Their economic impact is only a fraction of the other problems we have. But in good American tradition, we need to blame it on someone else instead of fixing our problems.

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Oh why by all means, let's just open the borders to all n'er do wells, let's just give everyone a free pass into the country, and maybe we can set it up so Oprah will give everyone a free hybrid vehicle upon entry, and blank checks from the federal government. And then let's mandate that every day at noon we all stop whatever we're doing and give the person next to us a huge hug and say "I'm so happy you're a human" Maybe we can switch the national anthem to the Carebear theme song. Let's all sh*t sunshine and lollipops because that will obviously make the USA a better place!

Ok, so you're adept at the art of sarcasm. I get it.

That still doesn't change the fact that wanting to put illegals in "little crates" (your words, not mine) betrays your fascist instincts. I am happy to say that this is one instinct that isn't shared by most of our fellow citizens.

With all due respect, go f yourself.

Why is it a bad thing?
  1. Illegal aliens exist, whether we like it or not.
  2. Illegal aliens drive, whether we like it or not.
If they had driving licences, we would at least
  • know who they are,
  • know where they live, and
  • make sure they know how to drive before they get behind the wheel of a car

I agree. Its not the responsibility of states and cities to enforce immigration law. But public safety for their jurisdiction is their responsibility. If this helps the cities and states handle their responsibilities, then so be it. It does leave a bit of a paper trail for the ICE when they finally get around to it.

If you want to do something about illegal immigration. Call your representative and ask them to increase the budget to the ICE. They are way underfunded for the scope of their responsibility.

Why isn't it the City or States resposibility?

Immigration is the responsibility of the federal government. If it was each states responsibility, you would likely need your passport and/or visa to cross state lines.

Thanks for the offer but I don't need to "f" myself, my husband seems quite adept in that field. It's so amazing to me, because I'm not an illegal immigrant, or a supporter of illegal goings-on within the States, you want to vilify me. It's a bleeding trip! I can go up to Buffalo and sneak across the border if it makes my opinion more valuable.

I guess not being related to, married to, friends with, or providing a home for an illegal immigrant must disqualify me from any sort of say. I think you will find there are more people in this country who are sick of this #######, than there are people with 200 illegal aliens living in their tool shed.

No, it's not that. Wanting to put fellow human beings in little crates is what disqualifies you.

I'm so glad you are able to take what I say out of context, it makes you incredibly adept at being a giant fanny. You mean put humans who are breaking the law, laughing at our country, and doing worse than that while there here, on a trip home with jacuzzi's, dish tv, and food and water - guess that bit doesn't look so good when you're trying to put me down.

People who break laws are punished, if being sent home is punishment - again boohoo. Giving them free run of the country for not being able to follow the laws is not acceptable to me, or most normal people.

I thought of the same thing but at the same time, WE CANNOT SET A PRECEDENCE.

Would you rather they drive around uninsured, unregistered, uninspected, and unlicensed?

You're assuming they would all get a license. No, only the good ones will. The bad drivers, criminals, and uninsured will not.

Excuse me, but you are mistaken. It already does happen...frequently. Ever heard of an airplane? Ever heard of ICE's program of repatriating groups of Mexican illegals deep into the interior of Mexico so as not to make it easy to EWI so easily again? Crate 'em up...move 'em out. Adios!

I guess Americans ain't "good people". But we still treat our detained illegals infinitely more humanely than Mexico does or ever will treat their illegal aliens. ;)

"Credibility in immigration policy can be summed up in one sentence: Those who should get in, get in; those who should be kept out, are kept out; and those who should not be here will be required to leave."

"...for the system to be credible, people actually have to be deported at the end of the process."

US Congresswoman Barbara Jordan (D-TX)

Testimony to the House Immigration Subcommittee, February 24, 1995
