It's just one of many ways people find their partners. Chance meetings work for some, others want to be more proactive.

I met my guy in a Yahoo chat room. Love Stinks, to be exact. It was quite shocking to a lot of people, particularly back then. So many said we were making a huge mistake, but our 9th anniversary is end of next month and we've outlasted a few of their marriages. LOL.

Aren't all our SOs from another country?

I met D through friends. His friend and my bff were roomates. They had a party and I happened to be there. He was on hols so he contacted his friend & he got invited. It was not romance at the time as we both were in the middle of relationships. But we got on like a house on fire. Seriously.

A year and a bit later, D called to talk to his friend..my friend answered.. They were doing the chit chat catchup when he asked about me. She told him I was going through a divorce. Well aint that a coinkydink, so was he. He asked her to ask me if I could have his number...and the rest, as you say, is history!
