K1 adminstravite process 6 months

Hi there, me and my fiance going thru this black hole process which called AP and its been 6 months now, and same answer I heard every time called DOS that my case is still pending and going under security clearance, background check etc, may I know what this mean and why we get into this situation, overall my all paperwork was fine.

How long will take this process, does anybody who ended up in this AP thing get out of it quickly or how long it take average time please help me with this, I am so stress abt this.

They also told me that our name check has been cleared and now they working on security clearance and our case is active, so I am just keep crossing my finger for hopefull get done sooner.

In some cases a person's name is the same as someone on a list, and can take much longer to verify that the person is not the person on the watch list.

Happens often in cases where a person has a very common name, like John Smith.

My fiance is from Egypt and he has been on A/P now for a little over 8 months. So i know how you feel. Honestly there is nothing that you can do only wait. I know that is not what you would like to hear but that is the truth. I have contacted my senator, talked to my lawyer and nothing has or will speed up the process. They always give us the same answer when we ask about his case which is he is still pending necessary administrative processing and we will conact him once its complete. So i just email the Embassy once a month because its too depressing when i get this answer. DOS honeslty is no help either. Just try to be a little more patient i know its hard but believe me your day will come you will see and all this waiting will be a memory. You are in my prayers and i hope you hear some good news soon. Have a Happy Thanksgiving after all this maybe the last one you spend without your love so that is something to celebrate
