He probably will show up for the interview - But isn't their name on a list at the gate, in addition to having the letter? That will start his first problem. Some people get advice in their head and think that everyone else knows better - that drives me crazy! My ex's family used to ask for my advice all the time with issues - then follow what someone else told them, screw it up, and come crying to me to fix it - Sorry! Shoulda done what I said in the first place!

Forget who asked about the baby not eating baby food - My sister fed all of my nephews pretty much whatever we ate, just ground it up from when they were about 6 months or so - the youngest started trying to demand it at 4 months! They loved meatballs (I swear, we must have Italian somewhere in the genes, just no one has found it!) - She used to make sweet potatoes and mash them, same with carrots, chicken, etc.... They are all huge, smart, intelligent boys. She nursed and used cereal - beyond that, it was whatever we were having for dinner.

hhhmm if i remember from when we had ours they just looked at the letter and let you go in....things may have changed since then....

Good morning Everyone. it took me 15 minutes to read all the posts from last night! :-)

It is finally sunny here ...COLD .... but sunny. The sun makes me happy. All the snow and grey skies are so depressing.

I cannot wait until April and 2 glorious weeks in St Lucia.

I have a little question...

How long after my man arrives and we get married would it be possible to leave the country?

My boss offered to pay for our Honeymoon!!! And I think we will have to stay in the US which is fine but oh the possibilities if we can leave the country!!! The trip would be my 10 year at the job gift!!!

I am thinking about Big Sur and driving the Pacific coast highway if we stay in the US. I have never been to CA and always wanted to see Big Sur ... and it turns out the mountains are called the Santa Lucia mountains... its a sign!! :-)

Thanks all!

Cat

That's so nice of your boss. The Big Sur sounds nice.

yeah! I was pretty excited! The company I work for represents alot of European Hotels so I would love to bring Louis to Italy but I am not sure how soon it will be possible to leave the US??!!

He must receive either his AP or his green card for you to travel outside the US. I'd say 2-3 month minimum wait after you marry and apply for AOS.

Oh! Thanks for the reply... we could wait that long I suppose, now I have all these possibilities in my head!!

I need opinions now - where would everyone here bring their man if they could???

:-)

Cat

do u know how much money you guys will be working with??

We are a bit of history buffs...........Next international trip for us (besides JA) will be Mexico to visit some Mayan Ruins.

We also have visions of Egypt in our heads for pyramids.

Oh those both sound nice. We rep hotels in Mexico so I could go far there...

I just remembered I was thinking of Thailand. I saw something about an island near Bankok and they have bungalows on the beach and parties for every full moon. It looked very cool and like nothing I had ever done before....

I always thought India would be an interesting trip... with all the noise and colors and spices

I ask Louis where he has "always wanted to go" and he never knows. Or gets all mushy and says "anywhere you go"! LOL

I went to Greece in April last year and it was awesome. We flew into Athens for a few days; took a ferry to the island of Mykonos and then flew to Santorini. It was the best trip ever. Well , besides the trip to JA when I met Ray.

I also went to St. Marteen in Nov and it was a really nice place too. We stayed on the Dutch side and had a blast. The island is beautiful and you can take a ferry to St. Bart where all the Celebs go.

Thanks for all the ideas... keep 'em coming!

Greece sounds like a good one..

What we like to do together is explore really. Get in a car and drive ... find interesting places.

He like the history of things. He likes to have a drink or 2 but not a big party animal!! haha!

Have been to St Marteen... well St Martin I think. The French side. It was so long ago

I have been to Italy 9 times and Spain, Switzerland...

Amalfi coast was amazing but I am all cheesy and think maybe we should "discover a new place together"

She says first she had to pay her fare and the visa fee, came up to like $3,000USD :o

she says she has to work 5 days a week, 12 hour shifts for $4 an hour...

also she says ELEVEN of them share a 4 bedroom house, each paying $150 a month rent...

Modern day slavery to me :(

Jamaican Man of the House The husband had finished his book, "Man Of The House", by the time he reached home. He stormed into the house and walked directly up to his wife. Pointing a finger in her face, he said, "From now on, I want you to know dat a me a de man of this house, and my word is law! I want you to prepare me a wicked hard food meal tonight, and when I done finish eat my food, I expect a mango and pineapple dessert afterward. Then, after dinner, you is going to run me my bath so I can relax. And, when I'm finished with my bath, guess who's going to dress me and oil and comb my hair?" "De Bumbo Claaaat funeral director," said his wife.

does she have a visa to work for a specific company, if not she should get another job, that is ridiculus. she would have been better off staying in j.a.

Lawny,

did u mention the club crossroads, i've heard about that club. Is it good, people also keep dances there right?

I know you asked Lawny but it's our favorite club. We go every couple of months. They usually have good concerts - we saw Movado, Buju, Beenie, Richie Spice, Capleton last year.

My husband would be so envious...we are supposed to going to see somebody tonight, that is If my husband hurrys up and comes home. I'm bout to fall asleep.

Have fun. We're boring this weekend. Damien is flicking channels between soccer, boxing and basketball :help: He is glued to the TV. I'm going to bed.

I feel a sleep all dressed up on the bed. Good thing bc I had to be at work at 5am.

Brownskinn - I give you a lot of credit with your job = I started working with dually diagnosed adults, then autistic, when I was in college - went deeper into the field till I was directing a program. I got injured (shoulder and neck) dealing with an aggressive client, so I had to make a career change.

It's a rewarding career and I loved it - but you have to have the patience of a saint!

You see it. I NEVER have a boring day!! I love my job but it can be very overwhelming sometimes. I've seen many of people get hurt, I've been called every name in the book, kicked in the tummy- old elderly patient with dementia didn't know what he was doing. It's a challenge as you know, but I think I was meant to do it, I've been at it for 11 some odd years in some form or another.
