Mr Jengles asked for one thing a portable dvd player because sometimes he was stuck in the Mo bay airport parking lot for hours. I bought it for him and he used it to play movies for the tourists on the bus ride to Ochi. He wanted a cellphone and sent me the money western union. that was it.

I would constantly ask him if he wanted anything and the answer was consisently no. No clothes believe me I tried. He could really care less about clothes. No money. I offered to bring his mother something from here and she asked a dress. He only heard her asking for the dress didn't know I offered and told her off. I buy nice stuff for holidays.

He has this mentality that the woman stays home and the man works. He is SLOOOOWLY getting into the team thing.

He is a gentleman.

My experience is very much like yours. I know that God worked a miracle for me.LOL

Me too. Damien is a gentleman. He takes me out for "date night" every payday. And do me little things all the time...like run my bath water, make my lunch, buy me flowers, shoes and support my Carols Daughter comestics addiction :help:

Damien still won't let me do things for him...it drive me nuts sometimes. When he got his first job...he called one of his friends in JA to send him money for bus fare

LOL One woman's dog is another woman's knight in shining armor.

AGREED!!!!!!

 Each person has their own standards for a relationship whether it be based on past experience or religion or something else. One thing that may be a dealbreaker for me could be totally ok with another woman. All depends on the person.

LOL One woman's dog is another woman's knight in shining armor.

Couldn't agree more.......problem arises when they dress the dog up like a gentleman and swear to the death he's not a dog...More power to them

Hey y'all

Thanks to Yardie for starting part #5.:thumbs: You sure are smart. :jest::jest::jest:

We sure can talk. In regards to the previously asked question (though not directed at me), Mike is a gentleman by all means. Yeah, I take him things and he accepts them and is very greatful, but he has never asked me for anything. I sent him money once and he was like, "What is this for?". I told him to do whatever he wanted to do with it. When I went ot Ja last month, he drew the money our of the bank and handed it to me. It brought tears to my eyes. I gave it back to him and we spent it together on ourselves. When I was leaving he went out and shopped for things for me to bring back home. I told him he did not have to do that and he said, "you bring things for me that I did not ask for, so why can't I give you something to bring back home?" I am paying his Visa fee because I want to. He does not know that I am. I told his father I wanted to and he told me it was okay with him. I plan to send whatever I can to help him with the expenses he will be incurring. I consider this a small investment for someone who I want to spend the rest of my life with. :dancing::dancing::dancing::dancing:

Ha Ha this is too funny. Maybe I was on your husbands bus! I love this idea. I actually was on a local Shotta bus in the Ochi buspark waiting to go back to Mobay one Sunday and the DVD movie was the only thing that got me through waiting in that hot bus for over an hour. Lawd i thought I'd die at first. But then the drivah put this crazy voodoo movie in with Meghan Good and I was all good. I love that idea!

Mike lost his job after Dean and I sent him money too to help him out without him asking! I think that was okay in my book :thumbs:

I struggle with the natural hair thing too. I almost made it to a year before I gave in to a texturizer...now I'm starting all over again. Carol's Daughter hair products don't do much for me. But I love Carol's Daughter shower gel, perfume, body souffle, love butter, lip butter, face wash and moisture, etc.

I could not have said it better myself.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip
