my friends in college all LOVED the cherry limeades at sonic. So..after all the craving did you just LOVE IT?

I think we could all probably use some whipping in shape with money. ech. :wacko:

Aw man the mention of Sonic just brought back all these memories! We don't have a Sonic here where I live. Not sure where the closest one is, but I remember when I was in Biloxi MS for a summer and that place was the SPOT!haha, I loved the CherryLime-ade. The food was pretty gross, but the drinks were so refreshing. Now I am crazing one. We have Hot Dog on a Stick out here and they have the same Lime-ades....so good!!

Morning Yardies, happy Friday to you all. Hope you all have a wonderful and productive weekend.

I know most of you will have a 3-day w/e. I will be working night shift this weekend. I worked the last two nights, Wednesday night till midnight and last night till 3am for $10 more per hour. I trying to make some more bucks to save up for when Mike gets here. I also signed a contract to do an extra 72 hours btwn now and May 2, that will also pay me $10 more per hour and $600 after the contract is completed. I also need a TV for my bedroom and am working on that. I know that when he comes my expenses are going increase till he gets a job, so herego. Wish me luck.

Well...boring life.. but that what my plans are.

Lita;

I hope you have a good time in Ja. :thumbs::thumbs: (I wish I was going :crying: ). I have no idea about day or night spots to have fun, seeing that I have not been to Ja in 15 years before last year and spent most of the time relaxing with Mike at home. :P:P Have fun though for all of us stuck here without our man :yes::yes:(L)(F)

Whew! your gonna be working a whole heck of alot Claire. But I feel you on that saving for when your man gets here. I have not started saving yet, cause it seems the expenses are always eating away at me right now. After that roof leak...which insurance did not cover :ranting: I am now looking to spending all the money I planned on saving to fix that room before Evan gets here. He's good though cause he keeps telling me to save some work for him to do when he arrives. You know he told me he's cut my Cherry tree in the yard with a machete?!! :o

Have a good weekend, cause I know I will. i really am gonna be so unproductive today at work cause its Friday and my mind in already on Jamaica, hubby and some ackee at 7am!!

That reminds me of last summer. The kids next door were swinging on this homemade swing and it kept hitting a limb that was in their way. I said what can you do about that? Andre walked over and chopped the whole limb off with the machete. The kids just stood their with their mouths hanging open.

It's a good goal to work towards. I wish you luck in that.

No three day weekend for me either In fact, no weekend at all. I work tomorrow and Sunday at my part-time job and am back here on Monday. So, I'm right there with you Claire. Hang in there.

I got his at Knife-Depot.com. He HAD to have one of those stupid things. I will admit it has come in handy quite a few times.....usually yard work related.

Hey, anyone that has their SO's here and they cook, do they tend to pick the biggest knife you have in the kitchen to chop EVERYTHING? I am always amazed when I walk in and he's chopping onions with the meat cleaver.

We have the machete right beside the bed. I pity anyone who tries to break in too.
