Hey Shauna! How is the pregnancy going? How are you doing?

it is acutally going not too bad....i am not getting morning/evening sickness too much anymore which is great!!! but i tend to be hungry like every 3 hours which is fun but not fun when i am not near any food....i go back again in december then i need to get another ultarsound so i hope i will soon find out what it is....my mom wants a girl because she has lace outfits on the brain...and everyone else wants a boy so he can be a football or basketball star....but other then then things are going ok....mike and i are going to be taking a break from each other...i think it is needed...and i need to get myself together and he needs to get himself together before this child comes into the world....

Got any names picked out yet? I have tons of names picked out already and I am not anywhere near preggers Sorry to hear that you are taking a break with Mike but I am sure it is for the best if you feel it is needed. If you don't mind my asking...do you think it will be a permanent or just temporary? It sure has to be hard and on top of it you are pregnant. no i don't want it to be permanent...i need a mental break from him...he really has been trying to be better....but on the other hand i don't want to be a mom to 2 kids....he has a LOT of growing up to do and he needs to make choices and decisions i feel on his own with out always asking me or wanting me to do it for him...i need him to be a adult and someone i can count on to help me with this child...at this point i don't feel that i could count on him....he has something that he knows he needs to work on and get started on so that i know he is serious about this and we will just go from there....

i want a baby that is healthy....a girl would be nice so would a boy....i don't really care just healthy....

i have my names picked out....for a girl Kayla Ann and for a boy Jordan Thomas.....

My cousin has twins.....Kayla and Jordan. I love those names.

Kayla was the first name i thought of....just popped into my head and it has just stuck....and jordan my sister and i thought up that last weekend it just sounded like a strong name...so next month i will find out what name it will be......

Katie is a young girls name. But, I didn't want like Thelma on my young child. Then, I didn't want any silly nicknames either. I ended up picking Justin (from North and South) and Molly (from Ghost), BTW.

Someone else I know is having a Jayden next month.

If you think this part is going fast, wait till you actually see your child grow up in what seems like a very short period of time. Enjoy it all because it will just be memories soon enough.

I love anything SALTFISH! with ackee, with beans, in a fritter, just fried in oil and any other way you can eat it I told hubby when we get preggers that he better stock up cause I will be cravin like crazy

Then after the saltfish bring on the CURRY! Curry chicken, goat, beef, fish...anything you can curry.

The only thing I don't like of JA food is tripe and beans and chicken neck

LOL - yes, my timeline IS complicated and LONG. It took 14 months for the self-petition to be approved...CRAZY!!! Patience? What patience? I was checking the status online everyday!

The next step will be to wait for them to set up yet another biometrics appointment and then set up the interview to adjust status. I have a really good (and free) immigration attorney. Thank god ALL of my attorneys were/are free because of the DV. Oh, I didn't add my divorce to my timeline - my divorce was final on Halloween LOL. I had to have attorneys for housing (he tried to have me evicted but it didn't work), family, and divorce courts, and also for immigration. The only one I still have now is the immigration attorney.

Good morning all;

I mailed off the IV fee bill and it was delivered to NVC and Mike's dad sent in the I-864 and USPS showed that it was delivered but After checking the system every night I never received any message that it was received nor entered into the system.

Last night I called again and received the following message. What does that mean? We never submitted any documents except the IV bill and AOS.

NVC has reviewed your packet of forms and found info missing or incomplete. NVC mailed a letter on 11/29/2007 indicating what doc missing or incomplete. Please return the missing info to the NVC in and allow 6-8 weeks for review and you will be notified of the results?????

Sorry to hear about your RFE or whatever they call it! Look wait until you or Mikes Dad get the form and figure out what they are missing...don't panick yet! Actually, don't panick period! Once you recieve it, send whatever the he!! they want express...then wait they should send you a notice or email that process is back again proceeding. Give them 2 weeks and I would them call to ensure all requested doc's were received and query your current status!!

MOST IMPORTANTLY REMEMBER TWO THINGS....'THIS TOO SHALL PASS' and 'Who JAH bless, no MAN can curse'...that is like my mantra these days! It will come!

There is no medical required on the K-1---if you AOS within a year--- cause it's all done beforehand. And, just sometimes they require the whole CS filled out vaccinations. I honestly believe it is cause they KNOW it all had to be done before he could even be issued the K-1 and are getting a little more lenient. Although, there are still those sticklers out there.
