HE KILLED IT!!! ...On to the Beltway!! My Sister in DC called me...she was SOOOOO excited she got tickets to hear him speak today in VA. She said there was a line doubled around the block to get tickets!! Like a rock concert!

I saw Capleton here last year...one of the best performances I've ever seen.

Buju is always ashy looking too.

But he is SOOOOO good in concert! I saw him numerous times and I love the vibe he creates! It doesn't matter where he is the vibe is always the same! I LOVE Buju!!

Obama was suppose to speak somewhere in Falls Church, VA this morning. I planned on going until they cancelled it late Friday. He spoke in Alexandria instead....I didn't hear about the re-location. I am so upset

Will have to agree...met BOUNTY spoke to him for hours and the montego bay airport and all I wanted to do was rub him down with a jar of VASELINE...better yet a quart of motor oil...He's a sweetheart though...and don't get me started on ELEPHANT MAN...his thing always stiff while he on stage performing and he SPIT on everyone.....yuckkkkkkkkkk-- ELEPHANT MAN IS NASTY... don't know if ya'll know SANCHEZ...he performed in DC a few years ago and he was singing to my sister (this was all on VIDEO)...and she had to FAN him off...his BREATH STUNK! I was on the floor laughing.

Love, Beres and Luciano (I have never met an entertainer that was so humble)... (he gave me half of his JACKFRUIT)..my favorite singer died (Garnet Silk)..met him back in the day.

I love Sanchez and Luciano too. *phew* for stink breath. I had jackfruit for the first time...and I LOVED it.

Love Sanchez...(suh sarry fi 'ear bout em breath! )...Love Luciano too!! Beres Hammond...love his music...hate his politics. My family used to promote huge reggae festivals. We booked Beres...paid for his flight, hotel room...settled on a price...he gets there and a few artists away from him going on...he tells us that he wouldn't go on unless he is paid $20,000 more! I was so DYAM disappointed yuh see!!! We gave it to him but NEVER booked him again!

Has anyone ever used priceline.com? I saw a plane fare for $140 that Air Jamaica is charging $270 for and hotels in Negril for $15/night, but a friend of mine told me that sometimes they don't give you the exact flight that you want and that you cannot choose your hotel.

Does anyone know more about this?

I never used priceline myself but your friend might be right from what I heard. One of my co-workers used them and did an all inclusive in JA last year. The flight and hotel were decent prices but she was told she may be at one of any three of the hotels that quoted the "cheap" rate. She knew she would be in Negril but she wasn't going to know what hotel until she basically reached JA. It went by how many other people booked that charter flight for the dates and times she was traveling etc. It worked out since she was only going for a vacation but if you want a certain location or are afraid that where they put you might be too far from who you're visiting then it might not be worth it.

It might be different now but i'm sure someone in the yardie family knows more about it than i do! LOL

Marie, I have never used priceline, for that exact reason. I don't like surprises much, so I wouldn't want to be sitting for the last flight out on Air Ja, especially knowing how 99% of the time, they are delayed. I hope someone else who has had the experience can give you some guidance
