Ever thought about the mid-west? It's boring yes, but affoardable.

I think we need to move to KC then cause I need a little boring in my life.

:lol::lol::lol: ROTFDWL...As soon as I saw Brownie's post...I was like uh-oh :unsure:...Where's J.G. ...I knew you wouldn't let that slide without a comment! :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

I know she didn't meant any harm! :luv:

Love ya'll,

Gill

No worries, Gill. Didn't take it that way.

I just know my life is spinning out of control in St. Louis. If KC is boring, maybe it's time to pack up and move 4 hours west!

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

i was thinking cali is a good idea if i must pay alot at least its beautiful :) my girlfriend is from LA and she keeps telling me its like 1800 to 2000 just for rent im going to PM you.

What in the world!! Thats crazy to pay for rent. Now it is the price of rents in some areas but thats just crazy. Cause there are many options way below this price. I could not imagine paying that much in rent. Do you know thats more than my mortgage?

No not really i think we do have alot of jobs in my fiend in the MW though i chose tx as i have friends there since i lived there for a year and everyone was so nice so helpful there and friendly verrry friendly. And i can just switch to doin what im doing right now with not learning anything new. Then Florida because its tropical and sunny and i am missing that from jamaica. Then Cali for the same reasons and there are alot of jobs in my field there with my company Right now my goal is to save as much as possible im figuring GA or TX i can def do that. Oh and i love the homes in TX but FL has the architecture i really love. So far Mercedes homes are my favorite. We want to open a restaurant nothing really big but that is our dream right now :) any ideas on startup costs for a small restaurant like a carryout with maybe 6 tables. Anyone been to Nyam and Jam in Mobay?? We want something like that, maybe smaller. Or like Frankies i think its called over by pier one right inside where the car wash is. Its very small.

Awww, Nyam and Jam. You know I've passed it many times but never went inside. There's this really good Ital place behind the Mobay buspark though. Its this shack of a place where all these wierd little shops are, but the food is soooo hearty and the best soy carrot drink. That place has to be one of my favorites in Jamaica thus far. The food is good and not loaded with grease. It feels you up, but doesnt make you feel heavy afterwards.

Girl these Spanish markets don't have nothing. The Asian markets sometimes have similar cooking ingrediants to Jamaican foods, but specifics like Supligen, the oats, irish moss, etc....nope. I love my lasco too. My husband thinks I'm crazy. I buy up packs of those when in JA.

There is also a very good chineese place by all of the jewelry stores im not sure of the shopping plaza but its bright yellow! we always get pinneapple chicken fried rice. Nyam and Jam has the best fried chicken! Ok im hungry now. I dreamed last night that was in Jamaica and overlooking the ocean and sad because i had to leave the next day and kept wondering why i didnt book a return flight on Tues instead of Mon. :)

The best market i have found is in MD Randallstown its even better than the ones i have been to up here. Minus Sun Tropical in Newark i can find what i want but the callaloo is not good but they do have everything else u want but this store in randallstown i prefer that. We go to MD to see my mom every other week, so that is the first stop off of the beltway to get my Lasco :) i have been mixing that with my herbalife vanilla shake. I have been trying to eat more healthy. Has anyone seen you are what you eat on the BBC channel that lady Gillian McKeith, http://www.bbcamerica.com/content/273/index.jsp the nutritionist has me scared lol after showing what all those people eat and its making them sick. Next purchase is a juicer. Hubby says um you can eat that stuff but im not. So far he has eaten the brown rice i made with coconut water. Made it taste a little better.
