Yardies, at home and a farrin' (Part 5)

For our 2nd anniversary (I was sick the 1st one) my friend decorated a hotel room for me and Damien. They had candles, rose petals, confetti and balloons all over the place...even in the bathroom. Hersheys Hugs and Kisses chocolate candies on the bed in a heart shape. I picked out sexy lingerie which she laid on the bed....so pretty. She had also fresh strawberries to dip in chocolate, wine and massage and bath oils. We made a big mess but it was fun cleaning each other up

Great friend, sounded like a nice set up. Our two year is coming up on Valentines, we are going to a concert..Toni, Tone, Tony...I know old school but....It's our anniversary and theres nutin else here to do, so we are going to check them out and afterwards check in to a hotel and spa for much much needed relaxation and pampering.

Sounds good. Damien is getting Bounty Killer tickets for V-Day...is that romantic or what??

...Sound like me! I asked Ken for a CD of the latest Yardie songs! HE was like "That's wah yuh want for V-Day!?!?!?! But yuh knoa it's probably gonna be straight slackness and badman tune! No man let mi sen yuh a lovers one!" I was like "Ohhhh NO NO NO I want the slackness please and a SIGNED card!! ...thanks!" (Homeboy always send me beautiful cards...but he NEVER SIGNS THEM or writes little notes in them!!!) The last time I told him I think I have a secret admirer in Ja. Cause someone keeps sending me cards with NO SIGNATURE!!!

I hear ya! I am a little hesistant about finding out the results infront of the interviewer and on an already stressful day! But, I figured just get it out of the way! Tam-Tam's 1 in 3 article is still in my head... . For the first time ever...this is one time I HOPE AND PRAY MY INSTINCTS ARE WRONG!!!

A few weeks ago JA-Tam posted a Gleaner article that stated 33% of DNA tests in JA. came back as the father/child NOT being a match! I have had my fears about Ken's paternity of KJ for a while now. So, now that I was told by a VJ member that the Embassy did not accept a birth certificate issued only 2 months after the child's birth. I am thinking it would probably be best to do the DNA test when Ken & KJ got to MoBay Hope for their medical.

My only issue is if my instincts are correct we will find out that KJ is not Ken's son at the interview in front of the Interviewer and my Husband will be to put it mildly...DEVASTATED!! And so will I!

So, I was just saying that I hope and PRAY that my instincts are off and all the tests come back positive...(well not all tests positive...the drug test negative)...whatever you know what I mean

My cousin that came up a last year that's what happened to her fiance. They was so devastated that neither of them heard the CO tell them that they were approved. I'm not sure if he was with them during the interview or waiting in the car. That was the first thing they were told. He don't even remember if the CO asked him more than one question. You know what was really messed up though, the little boy told my cousin that he knew who his daddy was. His mother knew also, but this was just another way to try and keep her ex in jamaica. Well it didn't work, he left 11 days later. The little boy kept saying he was sorry and my cousin told him it's not his fault. It's almost a year now and her husband is still emotionally torn up about this. Does the mother have to sign some form for the child to leave with the fiance? I have a friend that is filing for her fiance, but he has 6 kids and I don't know how that's going to work. She makes more than enough money to care from them and her fiance, but that's a lot. (Any advice).

I'm praying for you and that all works out for the best...99.9% of the DNA and ----- for the (GANGA test)...is that the only drug they test for? If so, why? Let me not open that can of worms.

You see that's what I'm talking about! It would kill the joy of an approval (G-d willing) and mess us both up for everyting else!! Then I would have to get lock-ed up for beating a b**tches A$$ for hurting my husband!!!! Seriously, when he went to drop off KJ...I couldn't guh...cause it would be ON & POPPIN'!!!! I know me!

What if he went before the interview and got it done and then just took the official paperwork with him? Cause at this point, you have no official word that it is required of him.

I thought anything done AT medical was supposed to be secret and all that BS until interview.

The concert is Saturday after V-Day...I'll put the tickets in his card. I have to give him a few days notice so he can go shopping .

We are such a crazy couple...nothing we do is traditional. We have so much fun together....never a dull moment in our house.

That's a good idea! Dyam..then what you're saying is if it part of his interview...then they won't tell us til the interview...DYAM! I'll talk to him tonight. I spoke to him about this the last time I was down ther and it took everything out of me to broach it to him. But, I will keep no secrets from him and I felt if I was talking to you guys about the possibilty the least I could do was discuss my fears with my best friend! It was tough, but he heard what I was saying. i'll see how he feels!
