Fi tell yuh deh truth gurl...we haven't really thought that hard about it! It will be VERY small (we want to do a bigger one in JA on our 3-5th anniversary). Since he will PROBABLY be here late march...we will have til late june to git married. We have talked about May 23, 2008 (exactly 18 months after we first met)...but we'll see.

I have imagined 15-20 of our closest family in my church's old chapel (it's quaint & much smaller than the current one +

I married 'The A$$hole' (my ex) in the current one.) I am wearing a very simple wedding dress or suit...probably off-white or champange. Ken will be super handsome in his tux. His brother is his best man...my boys & my Dad will give me away! Then a wedding brunch afterwards. We are planning a family honeymoon in ATL & FL.(Disney) when the kids git out of school end of June.

I just want to get him here first! Then mi nuh really bizniz if we a git married pon deh Brooklyn Bridge!...WHATEVER...JUST GIT HERE KENNY!! Gurl, I have learned that the wedding isn't nearly as important as the marriage! Which is what I am REALLY looking forward to

Shrewdie, I didn't want to go K3 cause i just wanted to stick to focusing on the one visa. Not to sure how much faster it is, but the CR1 visa feels a bit more fluid to me. But thats me. If its free, I guess it doesnt hurt to try. I just can't handle much more paperwork so I said forget it. haha

From what I am seeing, the K3's are getting approved at about the same time as the CR1. Stick with the CR1 shrewdie. You will save yourself some money.

It was our wedding day. What is funny is I got ready with a bunch of guys (the gals were at the wedding site) and I wanted to put that hibiscus in my hair and we had two colors growing in our yard. I asked for advice and one of them told me "nah sir, you cant do that you will look like a bush" well, I did it anyway and then came out all dressed and ready and they said "ah, rose, fi tru, look good"

I agree. That is one blessing we can count . Those of us going through this process sure do learn the value of the marriage and the oath! can I get an amen? (although I cant say after going through two older sibling extravagant weedings I was all that keep on anything huge anyway...)

Just called the NVC and was told a mistake was made on the DS-230. Question #20. I looked at my copy and low and behold one word was left off. The part where to from/to date is and the to part should have had present and I was supposed to have written the word in and somehow overlooked it. I must have been so upset because Mike did not sign the police cert, that I did not fine tooth comb it as I should have. He is gonna kill me. He would be getting a date for March with Gill if not for this mistake. I for sure thought it was a RFE for the police cert that was not signed.
