I am so tired today. I couldn't sleep last night for several reasons. First of all I was freezing to death. I had all the heat on and extra blankets on the bed too. Second of all, I was hungry. I finally got up at 12:00 and fixed myself a peanut butter sandwich. Then, I was thinking. I do that at night when I lay down. Just start thinking of all the things that happened during the day. It keeps me awake. I finally dozed off somewhere between 12:30 and 1. Then my stupid cell phone rang at 1. No number, call restricted. I'm pretty sure I know who it was and I'm pissed they called me at 1. I hit ignore and went back to sleep. I can't wait to get off work so I can go home and go back to bed.

Good Morning. I have trouble sleeping exactly because my mind goes crazy and not only I start thinking of the things I've done but the things I got to do. But I have some anxiety issues, nothing a good pill won't fix.

booty I do the same thing! I lay there thinking about what I did, what I haven't done, what I need to get done asap. Sometimes I even get out of bed and do stuff so I stop thinking about it. I didn't want to get out of bed this morning either. I actually carried my blanket wrapped around me out to the couch and started watching the today show

Life is a ticket to the greatest show on earth.

Why is it that I have been depressed and jobless for 3 months and now all of a sudden I get 3 different and I am stuck to choose...

that's the way it works. weigh the wages versus distance and factor in benefits if any. good luck

Good point. That's what I will do. Thanks!

and get everything in writing...verbal don't cut it.

Can you elaborate on what you mean by that. Sorry for being slow. By the way the three offers are: Mental Health counselor, Social services position at a nursing home, and bank teller (this one is out of the blue but I was desperate so I applied).

some questions to ask yourself:

- which one pays better?

- which one is closer to home?

- which one has better parking space?

- which one has better work hours?

- which one has the best benefits?

- which one you will know how to do best?

- which one will satisfy you the most?

Nizzy,

Go where you'll grow into what you want to be.

in writing - what the pay is, the benefits - we have a guy here at work who's been going around and around because what he was told about benefits is different than reality.

fortunately he has a leg to stand on as what he was told was in writing.

yeah I remember one of the first questions I asked my boss on my first day of work was if I was ever going to have to leave the office to do anything, or if it would be only office work (which is what I like) and he said only office work. I wish I had that in writting, I have to leave the office pretty much everyday to do something.
