In the fridge is a salad called Portuguese salad that I bought and never ate. It's chickpeas and sun-dried tomatoes in vinegar (no oil) with a bunch of spices. I really want to eat it. Would that be so terrible?

How long has it been in there, does it smell, any visual mold or fungus?

It's been there for six days, it seems fine, and it's the nutritional value of the chickpeas that concerns me

call their complaint hotline and tell them maybe they'll send you free stuff

so it is possible? :o

yeah totally! they make mistakes sometimes and are happy when people point them out that's why they have the hotlines. one time my friend made some mac n cheese and it was disgusting the noodles didn't even taste like pasta they were I don't know just weird. anyways, she called them and complained and they gave her the money back for the stuff and about $50 in coupons for free stuff

but the salmon is not diet friendly if on oil, I should sue them cuz they're making my ####### look bigger!

Hubster got a Haagen Dazs a few weeks back that wasn't caramel cone, it was like there was only the ice cream, not the cones or caramel swirls. He called and complained. But that was probably the same amount of calories, fat, sugar etc.

They can't make mistakes like that when it's not healthy. :protest:

What if it was a diet stuff and a diabetic ate it and died?

big @ss lawsuit.. and lots of money

party at pedroh's after nessa's funeral :P

well scratch the party at pedroh's.

They're just carby, and I'm kind of avoiding eating too many carbs since they make me munchy.

and you still owe me kitty pics

eat it!It's salad, it can't be that bad. Plus vinegar has no calories, so it can't be as fat as in oil.

Chickpeas has a very good nutritional value. Even if it's more calories or carbs than u want to eat, it's still good carbs.

Chickpeas are a helpful source of zinc, folate and protein.[6][7] They are also very high in dietary fiber and hence a healthy source of carbohydrates for persons with insulin sensitivity or diabetes. Chickpeas are low in fat and most of this is polyunsaturated.

Plus it's high in protein. So eat it!
