Lindsay is working at a coffee shop in her hometown while she's waiting to come down here. She moved home to be with family before she has to leave. She lives in a small town of like 5000 with no Starbucks closeby. She had a girl who had just gone away to college for her first semester in Vancouver come in for a mocha latte. The girl was super snobby and said "I want a mocha latte...and make it good like Starbucks." So Lindsay called her out for trying to come back to Kitimat and act cultured by letting everyone know she'd been to a Starbucks.

Starbucks is STRUGGLING in Baton Rouge. We have a very good local chain in town. So when Starbucks came to town, people knew right off the bat that it was McCoffee. The Starbucks by my house is about half a block from a CCs (the good coffee shop). I love to drive by and compare the parking lots. A rush at Starbucks seems to be 2 customers. At CCs, you have to wait for someone to leave so that you can park and the drive-thru is always about 5 deep. It makes me so happy to see those corporate wankers suffer.

All you need is a modest house in a modest neighborhood

thought this was kinda funny...

MINNEAPOLIS - Carlton Jermaine Davis will have to keep his tongue to himself.

A Minneapolis judge has sentenced Davis to five years probation, after Davis was convicted of robbing a woman of her keys and cell phone, then licking her toes.

Davis was warned he faces 21 months in prison if he fails to complete his probation.

I had look up Kitimat in google maps - omfg that is remote! I bet its beautiful though.

It's amazing. Some of the best salmon fishing in the world. Then you can whalewatch and catch halibut in the channel. Or you could take a drive up into the mountains. It really is like heaven on earth. I would not be terribly surprised if we end up back there one day. The big negative is the nasty winter.

And I don't get the toes thing. I can think of other parts I'd rather lick.

How long are the winters?

It only lasts about 4 or 5 months, but they see temperatures around -40 F and lots of precipitation from the Pacific.

I had a lot of work to do today, which is unusual but I loved it.

This is my last year on my 20's. Next year I'll be 30, which sucks. And I can see expression lines when I look at the mirror, it's depressing. I wish I could afford botox and I'd also like a lipo :P

My mom used to say life begins at 30. I don't know if I'll like life when it finally begins :P
