man it's ####### here today. everything is soaked, puddles everywhere, got my feet wet cos my crocs have the holes in them, now I have wet socks, it's hot as heck in here, I got really mad when I spilled ground coffee on the counter, cannot wait til feb 29. did I mention I'm having a bad day?

we need to cut back on some of our expenses right now so I I decided to cancel our digital cable... I figured that they might give us a discount if iI called and said I wanted to cancel but they didn't and canceled it on the spot, I guess they can do it from there because all our channels are already gone...

but now I am confused because on our last statement it said this....

This bill is for services from 01/26/08 To 02/25/08
so doesn't that mean we have payed up to feb 25th?? so shouldn't we have had cable until then?? the guy said they will stop billing us right aways.... I am really confused right now...

maybe they will give us a refund for what we have already paid.... or am I misunderstanding something :unsure:

It sucks here today too. The back of my pants legs are wet cause I'm so friggin short they drag the ground. D@mmit! Went to Walmart at lunch and bought deodorant and an umbrella and it was $22. ####### is up with that?

I'm tall and I have that problem so I just roll my pant legs up until I get inside

from what i'm seeing above, you should have cable until the 25th. otherwise, they've charged you for a service you are no longer receiving.

yeah call and complain ask for a refund or to turn it back on until the 25th! our cable company keeps charging us for modem rental every month and we bought the frickin modem from them! I tell them every month and they apologize and reduce the bill.

ok, just called... the guy said the amount for the cable will be credited to my account... why couldn't the guy have mentioned that in the last phone call??... :P I guess I should have asked... :blush:

now we have nothing to watch :P but we are going to save about 45 bucks a month without cable :thumbs:

I realized earlier that once we return the remote and digital box we will have no way of turning on our TV as we bought it secondhand without a remote and we were using the universal remote feature of the cable remote to turn on the TV and adjust the volume....... now we will have to do things the old fashioned way :P
