Alex last night I used my rice in a sock trick and it really helped a lot. No need to buy a heating pad :)

PS, Because of my #######, which at its best is still to me unsatisfactory, I haven't worn a bikini since I was 4. For this reason I've never gone swimming in Brazil, sadly!

you can always wear one of those, what's the name.. ''tanga'' all the way to the water and then you take them off when you're in. I can't believe all that time in Brazil and you didn't enjoy one of the best thing Brazil has to offer: the amazing beaches.

Yeah, I enjoyed them fully clothed. :( Well, next time we go (maybe around New Years) I will make it a goal to go swimming. One of my life goals is to live in Floripa for a year or so, so I better get used to the idea.

 nope! instead of buying a heating pad you can put uncooked rice into a sock and then tie the end of the sock off so the rice doesn't come out. then just pop it into the microwave for like 2-3 minutes and you have a heating pad that molds to your bod

Life is a ticket to the greatest show on earth.

I love Floripa. But it would suck for you to live there and not go to the beach and enjoy it. You can choose one of the beaches that has more old tourists, like fat old people that wont make u feel bad about yourself like Canasvieras :P instead of choosing a beach like Joaquina or Lagoa that has lots of surfistas and hot chicks with perfect bodies.
