darn!!!!! :angry::angry::angry::angry::angry::angry:

I just was on our health care site and they finally processed the room and board claim from when I was in the hospital for about a week... i was pleasantly surprised when i saw the amount we owed but upon closer inspection I noticed that about 400 dollars wasn't covered by our insurance and I wondered why so I looked closer and that $400 was because they didn't cover the difference between a semi-private room and a private room... :angry:

now the thing is I had no choice when it came to a private room.. they just put me in one and I am pretty sure all the rooms in the maternity wing are private rooms... that is soooo not fair :angry:

Can you dispute it?

now this is even stranger... :blink:

as of last year the health care insurance only covers 90 percent of hospital visits and we pay the other 10% but from the looks of things we didn't have to pay anything for this hospital visit besides the copay and the private room :unsure: it all got covered by the network discount and the insurance... :blink::thumbs:

I had to stay in another hospital for about 3 days about a week earlier then this visit and we had to pay the 10 percent :unsure:
