Alex, i have used this recipe (from this website) -- http://malluspice.blogspot.com/2007/02/fis...apia-curry.html.

I didn't do it well but maybe you can do better. It is Indian and it is fish and veggies.

i did these fish packets once for hubby.. he ate it but said it wasn't his favourite.. he is more of a fish and tartar sauce type person though...

I am guessing that any type of vegies might work...

FLOUNDER FILLETS IN A POUCH

4 rectangles of aluminum foil

2 lbs. flounder fillets

Fresh parsley, chopped

Juice of 2 lemons

1/3 c. butter

Salt and pepper

4 potatoes, peeled and sliced thin

4 onions, peeled and sliced thin

On each rectangle of foil place 1/2 pound flounder fillet. Brush with lemon juice, sprinkle with salt, pepper and chopped parsley. Dot with butter. Arrange alternating layer of potato and onion on top of fish. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, parsley and dot with butter. Wrap carefully to seal in moisture.Bake the pouches in a single layer on a shallow pan in a 325 oven for 35-40 minutes. Place pouches on individual plates and serve. Slash pouches at the table.

YUM. That looks ambitious. Sigh...I suck at cooking.

It's difficult. I tried but it I didn't do too well. I will try again. Not tonight, tonight we go have Turkish

YUM Turkish. Everything sounds yum. Diet syndrome.

If it's a white fish I love to marinade it in soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, green onion, ginger and then grill it yum yum! serve with steamed rice and sauteed bok choy or other asian veggies

Life is a ticket to the greatest show on earth.

we are going to a wedding next weekend.... the person getting married is the niece or daughter of my sister-in-law's husband's aunt.... yeah, confusing.. the aunt is really nice, she is a hair dresser and came to my sister-in-laws house to cut my hair last month when I was on bed rest....

anywho, I figured i should buy a wedding gift but we don't have a lot of money... I ended up buying this pepper grinder.. it is really nice... clear in the middle but the base and top are carbon steel... it only cost about 10 bucks... do you think that is a good wedding gift?? I know I would like to get it...
