I'm going to a wedding of people I don't know for a story I'm writing.

I went to a wedding last week for my best friend who is very dramatic...the wedding was hilarious and very entertaining. She got mad at her mom for drinking and making the wedding all about her when really her mom hadn't had a drink at all. SOOOO she went to bed at like 10:30pm while everyone was still drinking and dancing. I thought it was so funny.

but i am curiuos as having seen no data or research on Indians....and gambling..is it popular or just a random activity..and is an issue in India with gambling compulsion?

north indians love to gamble. it's in the culture. i don't think south indians do but then again i don't really understand them so i could be wrong.
