A friend of mine gave me that nick about 15 years ago when the internet came around and I signed up for AOL. At the time I drove a Toyota MR2. I didn't know what nick to use and she said "you're a nice guy and you drive a nice MR2, so create a screen name called MR2nice." The rest was history. This nick stuck with me since then. :D

I'm not sure if my Fiancee is pulling my leg this afternoon. She texted me and said that the Embassy called her to let her know that the interview date will be on Jan 9, 2008. I'm shocked as we just turned in our packet 3 not too long ago. If it's true then she'll have her interview next month. :thumbs:

Thanks. I got this job last fall and so far I'm liking it alot. It's different from what I've been doing in the past. I came from a Software Engineering background, but now focus more on Business applications and interactions with clients. It's something new and I'm glad I took a chance to make a career change.

I was planning to go and be with her for the interview, but my work does not allow me to travel in the months of Jan-March 2008 because we're going through a reorganization and everyone is trying to get their projects completed or else there may not be a job. I was able to ask my manager if I can just take 1 week to go back before the end of the year. Luckily it was approved and so I will go see her next week (Dec 18) and be back on Dec 27. She doesn't know I'm coming to see her. I purchsed the ticket last month and to my surprise I'm able to keep this secret from her. I want to surprise her for the Holidays. :)
