Hi everyone -

I am American and live in Oz with my Aussie husband and we are starting the I-130 process via DCF now. We moved here a year and a half ago from the States where we lived together for about 2.5 years after we got married. Husband and I met in the US and he had a green card. Well, the green card has expired (grrrrrrrrrrr) so we have to start all over again. :crying:

We got an appointment to file the I-130 in Sydney really quickly - it's next week - November 29th!! Eeek!

Quick question on the G-325A form - at the bottom there is a space for the applicant to put his name and Alien Registration Number. We have not yet surrendered his expired green card b/c we don't know what we are supposed to do (have asked a few times but no response yet) -- should we put his old Alien Registration number in there?? I know, an oddball question. If nobody knows I'll just email the Sydney consulate and pray they get back to us quickly.

Thanks everyone!!

Jules

Looking forward to moving back home in 2012!

Yes, put the old A number. It's the only A number he will ever have. SSN is an "only" too.
