K3 AND TRAVELING OUTSIDE THE US

Hello all

My wife is here on a k3 visa , she needs to leave the us and come back.I have not applied for her adjustment of status yet because we are awaiting the translation and arrival of our marriage certificate from Iran. We should receive it soon and I'll apply for her adjustment. Can she leave and come back ? I have called USCIS twice and we even met with an immigration officer in downtown LA they all gave us different answers .Two said she can leave , and one said she can't .Which is it ? She also has an I-94 card attached to her visa tha says must be surrendered upon leaving the US. On her visa it says :Entries :1 and the visa is good for two years.What kind of document do they require for K3 visa holders ? Do they want proof that you have applied for adjustment of status ? Any help is appreciated.Thank you :-)

On a K3 visa, the letter M should appear below the word Entries and below the words Visa type/class "K3" should appear. K3 is a multiple entry visa good for as many entries as you want during the two year validity. Perhaps yours has a misprint. If so, I would contact the Consulate for a correction.
