I went past my 180 day mark at least for the I130. My hubby called up USCIS to check if they had any new updates and was told that he has to wait for 30 days before making any inquiry. 30 days include holidays or no? :crying::crying::crying::crying:

I also went 180 days mark, and we were also told to wait 30 days. It reach 200 days going by the date of my I-130 and my I-129f was approved on the same day. just hang in there, your approval will be on its way to you. Dont worry.

Congrats tway22!

An update on where we are:

We're waiting in that CSC mailroom hell along with D&N. I finally gave up and did the RFE trick. I got some psycho babbler who confused the pants off of me and wouldn't let me ask any questions. She told me about how we have to wait to a pallet to be full before they send it to NVC. But then she started in on some gibberish about an A-File and how they had to separate out the file form the A-File because they had earlier combined the two and they had to be very careful about separating them out, so that would add more time to us getting to NVC (at times she said it was the beneficiary's A-File, and other times she said it was mine). When I asked her what the A-File was, she said she couldn't tell me (as if it's some big secret!). To top it off she said, I'm not saying that this is your scenario - just that it could be another reason for delay in getting to NVC.

Frankly, each time this week I've called USCIS and NVC, they act almost offended that I'm inquiring after receiving the NOA2 about 3 weeks ago, and that I should know it's going to maybe take more than a month - maybe even 90 days. I'm so fed up with these people! Now, next week no one is going to hear anything, and after that we're into the next year. Still waiting to get out of CSC.

Hey guys I was touched again today. I am a little worried here, is this a good sign or bad? I have read that many touches can also mean the dreaded RFE letter. What do you think?

I am going to see my wife in Chile SOON, are any of you guys traveling during the holidays to see your spouses?

I haven't heard anything either!! :crying: My I130 was received in Nebraska 6-6-07 and forwarded to California 6-15-07. My I129F was received in Chicago 7-28-07 and forwarded to California 8-9-07. Which date do I assume they go by? I called USCIS yesterday and was told they would do a request for the I130 since it was past 6 months- when transferred to the center I was told they would NOT do it! She claimed it had to be 30 days past the 6 month time period. The lady was rude and kept stating "You need to be patient!" I wanted to scream! lol

Good luck everyone! I am glad we have each other to vent to! B)
