CONGRATULATIONS to all that been approved!!

I am still waiting on ours.. I called USCIS and they advised me that no one has been working on our case, they themsleves couldn't understand why. They are clueless sometimes! I had to do a service request to find out why and that would be an additional 45 days to find out the reason :crying::crying: This just makes me angry...

But I have already wrote to my congressman and I am waiting for a reply from him. Let's hope this helps....

Has this happened to anyone else? :unsure:

Ugh, bittersweet. Got an email today saying we're going to receive an RFE. I mean on the one hand I'm definitely happy I'm finally moving along in the process after 6 months but on the other hand I'm dreadfully waiting for it in the mail. Has anyone got any advice of what I can try to do to prepare for what they will want? I'm leaving to see my wife for 2 weeks on the 19th and I'd hate to have to wait to get something out to CSC before I go.

6/6 - Sent I-130

6/21 - NOA1 Received date

1/23 - Touch (cmon just approve already!)

1/23 - Approved (still not updated on USCIS website)

1/29 - Received hardcopy letter in the mail.

I-129

7/2 - Sent I-129 form to Chicago

7/20 - NOA1 received in mail (Rec. Date 7/6)

8/7 - Case transferred and pending at CSC

12/4 -TOUCHED!!!!!! (we didn't call or anything so I hope this is legit)

12/11 - RFE Email Notice Received (Waiting for snail mail)

1/3 - Back from India and sending off two pics of my wife since CSC lost the last two. (Approval next week please?!)

1/14 - Back in business. RFE response received at CSC and back to processing.

1/15 - Touch

1/23 - Touch (Please...)

1/23 - APPROVED!!!!!! best 3:30 am wake up call I've ever gotten on my phone.

1/29 - Received hardcopy letter in the mail.

2/4 - Received notification from NVC (dated 1/31) that my petition has reached them and will be sent to the consulate!!!! Almost over!

03/03/2008- INTERVIEW....... NSO sent documents for documentation

04/09/2008- visa approved!!!!!!

04/11/2008- visa in hand

04/14/2008- cfo stamp

One other thing, we were approved the last week of November, this is the note i received from my Congressman's office yesterday (12/11) regarding transfers from the CSC to the NVC (removed her name for her privacy):

His office was a little peeved at the huge difference in waiting between California and Vermont (of course I have provided all kinds of nasty data and feedback :devil: ) so they are actually staying on top of this one and a couple of other cases like ours.

Good morning,

I received an email response this morning from the California Service Center. The case was approved on 11/29/07. The file will be shipped to NVC within the next week. The case cannot be processed at NVC without the physical file. I will check back in two weeks to see if the file has been sent.

I would like to start a new thread to track all of us JULY, I-129F/K3 Filers. As you can see only my I-30 is approved since I sent this in May. I sent my I-129F on July 20th and until now I have not been approved (pending). I would appreciate if you could share the progress of your I-129F's filed in July.

yup. filed my i-130 in june and i-129 in July. Both approved on Dec 3, 2007. Just waiting for it go to to NVC.

06-26-07 - I-130 NOA1 rec'd

12-03-07 - I-130 approved

I-824

12-17-07 - sent I-824 to california

12-28-07 - NOA for I-824

04-09-08 - NOA - file transfering to NVC

04-22-09 - called NVC-"haven't rec'd file as of yet". I was told to wait till I get the next action and then write a letter to them stating "will be persueing AOS"

07-13-07 - I-129 sent

07-19-07 - I-129 NOA1 rec'd

12-03-07 - I-129 approved

01-02-08 - rec'd letter from NVC "will be sending i-129f to Montreal"

01-17-08 - rec'd Package 3

mailed Police Search Request to Hamilton Police Dept. with $40- money order

01-22-08 - mailed Package 3 to Montreal (checklist, ds-230 with attachments,

ds-156 filled out application ONCE but sent 2 copies)

03-29-08 - picked up police search results (came up negative....which is good)

02-04-08 - got medical done Dr Seiden Toronto Ontario

04-04-08 - picked up medial results from doctor's office - xrays of my chest and sealed envelope

13-04-08 - going to Montreal by car with my girlfriend-staying at hotel across from embassy, staying for 2 nights

04-14-08 - INTERVIEW DATE - Approved

04-16-08 - Rec'd passport back from embassy

04-21-08 - Port of Entry - Sarnia Ontario

05-02-08 - Sent I-765 to California

05-06-08 - NOA - California rec'd I-765 (work auth)

08-21-08 - Biometerics appt - took 5 minutes once we got there NOT ENOUGH SPACE TO FINISH MY JOURNEY............

Well Congratulations to all of you.....we are very happy. So it's official now, USCIS is actively processing JULY cases.

Congratulations to MarieEnMichelle, JlScott201, Itsallgreektome on your recent approvals. You just have to be patient now because CSC is taking FOREVER to release your cases so they arrive NVC. Many of us who were approved in November are still waiting to reach NVC.

Hang in there, the waiting game is still not over!!! Best of luck and God Bless.

3.17.08 - Received both NOA's in the mail

5.13.08 - Approval Email for EAD (so the card was ordered first, and then we were approved...hum)
