So you were approved on November 8th and NVC has not received your case yet? Wow, what is taking them so long. I was approved on November 21st and I just can't wait any longer. Some people reach NVC in like 10 days.

This is so true YGandMAT. How quickly you get through that stage really is all about luck. It depends on whether you're unlucky enough to be first in the new box or lucky enough to be the last in the old box.

uscis has a banner welcome in America but they should change this: first you get through Kafka world and then eventually if you make it you might be here

Well C and J, I hope we are one of the lucky ones. I want to resist from calling NVC until the 16th of December...but curiosity kills me. It appears like the "average" appears to be about 20 days.

I hope we get there soon.

Do you have your appoitment yet?

No appointment yet, because I've been holding off for a few days to send the checklist in. I am going to mail it today and then enquire around the middle of next week to see if I have an interview date :)

Once the NVC receives your petition it is a nice smooth, organised ride to the finish :) It's just getting out of USCISs mailroom that's the hard part :)

Our I-130 was approved in 258 days.

Timeline estimated adjudication on April 4, 2008. It was adjudicated on April 23.

Our I-129f was approved in 197 days.

Hello Elbereth,

Even though your I-130 NOA1 doesn't show your priority date, you are an August filer. In my case, I sent my I-130 I believe on May 20th, and my priority date was May 24th....

So you should start counting from August.

C and J, I just can't wait to get on that ride. The process at USCIS seems eternal, I feel like it never ends. I need some peace of mind, and I will not get it until our case reaches NVC.

Congrats to everyone who has gotten approvals. This website is a God send during these times, I just have to say. Anyway, just praying for those especially who haven't even gotten thier NOA-1 yet and for everyone in general :) At this point I'm not sure WHAT filer I am. Sent my stuff in July but didn't hear anthing until September. So that's a span of three different months! Have a good weekend guys.
