nothing yet :crying::angry:

my lawyer sent an express mail letter to some guy(director???) at VSC on Friday requesting to look into why our case has yet to be processed.

the new dates have been updated on the USCIS site for I130 and I129F's

AUGUST 19th for the both of them.

Our NOA1's for both petitions were before this date. Now I want answers!!!!!!!!

Tomorrow morning will be spent on the phone. Hopefully to some avail.

Praying.

hummm

I talked to USCIS yesterday, finally someone that kind of knew a bit of the rumors that are going on. She did say that yes in fact some K-3 were being cancelled, but she also told me that once your petitions are combine, and they are going to be approved at the same time, they just cancel the K-3, I asked her that I wanted my K-3 visa reopened, she says that right now it can't because of the stage they are both in and to try to get a Congressional liaison to handle the reopening of my K-3 visa. I was wanting to pull my hair

She told me to call back in a month to check the status of my I-130 So I just decided to wait and be more patient...

I don't get it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't you just love that "check back in 30 days" is the standard answer for every situation that USCIS has?

Yes, I hate it, I hate it, I HATE IT!! Plus now the sentators office are using that line too :( but instead 30 days, they are saying call back next week :( I am beside myself!!! The funny thing is I didn't Receive any RFE but I have to be in security checks for a while now because of my husband's name :angry: as I was told!! I don't think it's fair, she told me that the first security check came back good, but that they need to check again (double check) and again (triple check) :unsure: to be sure WHAT THE HECK!!!!! :unsure:

The senator/congressmen reps came back to us with the same info we heard from CSC officer rep: Our case has been assigned an adjucating officer. Thing is, it's been in his hands for a month now. Maybe we are stuck in security checks, I don't know.

Also, we recieved a letter from one of the reps saying they were told our "I129F was administratively closed".

HELLO NITA&ASSAD,

YES WE WERE APPROVED!!!! :dance::dance: Thank you for asking!!!!

Just so you guys know, my husbands interview lasted only 3 minutes. (But the whole experience took about 6 hours...lines, lines). And my husband took a lot of evidence, pictures, joint bank statements, a lot of stuff. THEY DID NOT ASK TO SEE ANYTHING. They did not even look at what he took. They only asked when we met, how long we dated, if he had ever been in the US, and if we were married both legally and religiously. My husband said yes, we are married both by law and by the catholic church, and they said, OK you are APPROVED. That was it!!!

How are you doing with the process?

For the rest of you waiting or who need info on the Consulate in Ciudad Juarez, I will post more info on the Foreign embassy - Ciudad Juarez Thread.
