Yes, I wrote my congressman in November, and he told me to wait 45 days from 1/4/08 I am still waiting... so on Friday I wrote to both my 2 Senators, I wrote to the First Lady, Vice President Cheney, and I send that Case Problem form to CIS Ombudsman... I think someone needs to hear me :crying::crying: I really think it has to do where my husband is from and that is not fair AT ALL!!! It's so hard because I was going to go see him last week after 1 year of not seeing him, but I had to cancell my trip because of Violence in the country :crying::crying: I am so scared for my Husband!!! I don't know what else to do about it!!!!

But this forum has really helped me stay calm.. I pray to GOD that our I-130 gets approved soon!!!

Nita :(

Good day everyone...

I would like to start a new thread to track all of us JULY, I-129F/K3 Filers. As you can see only my I-30 is approved since I sent this in May. I sent my I-129F on July 20th and until now I have not been approved (pending). I would appreciate if you could share the progress of your I-129F's filed in July.

THANKS!!!

--------------------------------------

I got the approval (i-130) email at 9:00 PM M(PDT). I sent my i-130 and G-325 on 27th of July 2008 and action date was 17th Aug 2007. See my time lines for my details. I did not find any other place to give hope to people who are same desperate as i was and looking for silver linings. Good luck, your dream will come true soon and thats my promise to you. GOD BLESS US ALL.

regards

--------------------------------------------------

You are right, but i thought that i-130 is K3 too. I did not file for i-129. I started with i-130 to minimize confusion (to INS :)) and also filed G-325 with it. Also correction on my previous post, my receive and notice dates were in 2007 and not in 2008. Only approval date is in 2008.

Should i change my posts to another section instead of K-3 ? I do not want to provide any misleading information so please tell me if i am in wrong section of forum.

Hey nice2talk, that makes sense now. Don't change the post, but you might want to ALSO post on the CR1/IR1 forum as well. Your information helps all of us, it is always wonderful to hear about approvals.

You might however want to change your timeline information and remove that you filed for K3, I think it affects the statistics on VJ?

Again, congrats on the approval!

I called USCIS to ask about my I-129f because my I-130 was approved and I still hadn't heard anything about it (I-129F), they said: It's in Vermont.

That's all the girl would tell me. She said it hasn't been 6 months since my fiance visa was received so I had to wait 6 months.

I was under the impression that the two were supposed to be together. My I-130 was sent to Texas (by me), then transferred to California (by them).

I've also been hearing some people have gotten theirs canceled. I'm so confused. What am I waiting for.

I-130

07/29/2007---began process

01/24/2008---I-130 APPROVED (email)

I-129F

11/2007-------sent I-129F - VSC

02/17/2008---touched (at Vermont)

...I'm CR1 now--IV bill shows CR1--oh well

NVC

02/12/2007---at NVC

02/25/2008---received DS-3032 and AOS bill

03/10/2008---received IV Bill ($400!!)

03/24/2008---mailed DS2032

10/10/2008---approved at NVC

11/06/2008---interview (more evidence)

02/17/2009---2nd interview- PASSED!!!!!

04/01/2009---He finally landed on US soil. (no joke)

Sure sir,

I like the advice i get from people like you. You guys a doing excellent job of educating and comforting people by giving them moral support and encouragement.

I have changed my time line already but now i will change filing from K-3 to IR1. BTW, why do people file for i-129F and then i-129. I thought you can not file i-130 if you are not married. And if you are married, you are filing for IR1 -: I am confused but i will follow your instruction as you sure know way more than i do.

Thanks again

amit

Sure thing nice2talk

An I-129F is for fiancees; but you may submit an I-129F for a K3 visa, which is a NON-IMIGRANT visa for spouses of USC. You recieve a K3, enter the US, and apply for Adjustment of Status while being with your Spouse. It is SUPPOSE to reunite families a lot quicker...but now with USCIS taking forever, who knows!

An I-130 is "better" because once you come into the states you are ready to start working and don't need to Adjust Status, however it takes a lot longer to process at the NVC and be forwarded to your consulate/embassy.

I personally perfer the K3, I just want to be back with my husband as soon as possible, even if it means I can't work right away or that I have to pay extra processing fees. But it looks like USCIS is making that decision for a lot of folks now.

So i called CSC today and was told by a rather rude lady that I am only allowed to call every 30 days.

I still made her check my petition only to find out that it was still not assigned.

Then she finished the call by saying try next week.

I think they are all insane

Dear Nita

If you still have a choice between CR/K3 my humble suggestion would be K3, maybe a non- immigrant category will go less likely under long AP if any, this is only a suggestion.

Also you may want go to my controls, edit my signature and put your timeline there, it will appear each time when you post. Good luck my dear, like many of us here I know how horrible is being separated from your love ones.
