Howdy Ya'll,

I found this website and looks like a great one with lots of information. I followed the directions for filling out the K1 (i-129f) and I sent it in today. I live in Los Angeles area, and the service center is only a few cities away, so UPS said it would get there tomorrow (tracking and signature required). A few questions ... that i should have asked before sending it ... ;)

Did I sent to the right place?

United States Department of Homeland Security

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services

California Service Center

24000 Avila Road

2nd Floor, Room 2312

Laguna Niguel, CA 92677

The actual package (someone please double check below and assure me i wont be getting RFE'd)

I sent it in a plastic zipped folder, then inside a thicker yellow envelope. All the forms that needed to be grouped (g325a, etc) were paperclipped together. On the outside of the envelope I wrote "I-129f Original Submission"

on the inside i included ...

Cover Letter (using template from this site)

Cashier's check - $455

I-129F (i left A# area blank, was that ok?)

my G325a, 4 pages, plus my photo, signed

her G325a, 4 pages, plus her photo, signed

Birth certificate, long form (?) it was my original BC ... (i mean pc of original)

Letters of intent to marry from me and her

Proof of having met, 2 photos, pc of airline tickets, pc or museum tickets, pc of passport stamps, apt receipt

Proof of ongoing relationship, phone records, email records (screen capped outlook's folder list .... 2 pages outgoing, 2 pages incoming)

SOOOO .... does everything look OK ? or did i screw up somewhere? so paranoid here ... i hate filling out gov't forms.

Thanks in advance for the help!

Mark B.

Not sure of the address; but everything else looks good.

It's a long, frustrating process; but it gives you time to prepare for the next step. There is all kinds of info. and support on here, including a forum where you can talk to others from the Ukraine. It's a great site.

Welcome and good luck!

Hi, the process is kind of slow for the visa, but, well, we have to wait. The address is correct, it should be the same one on the instruction of I129F right? and for the I129F A#, if you were born in U.S. ,the N/A or None is the correct answer, and if you immgrant there years ago, there should be an A# filled in. I don't know if its a big deal. It should be ok, looked at the list you provided, it looks very professional. Good luck.
