Hi all-

I recieved a pink paper today after submitting a marriage based I-485 a month ago for myself.

I'm really quite confused about what to send in. They want:

1. My wife's federal tax documents/supporting documents

Which we don't have because as a full time student, she earned less than the level that the IRS requires tax returns from. I stated this CLEARLY in BOLD letters in the cover letter, but they want something more. All she has is some money in the bank account, which her parents gave her a few months ago. So do I just resend a statement saying that she wasn't required to file a income tax return? Do I need to send anything to support this statement?

2. My joint sponsor's supporting tax documents

My joing sponser is a business owner, so we sent in 1040s for him including schedule c. The joint sponsor said that he didn't have any 1099s, which is why I think the USCIS sent us a RIE. Either I can resend what I sent in already, or get a tax transcript from the IRS. Which way shoud I go?

3. My Birth Certificate

I'm just really pissed, because I had sent this in already, translated, notorized and everything.

I guess all I can do is resend this.

One more thing, should I send in a copy of the I-485 packet that I sent it originally, along with the RIE?

Thanks y'all for your collective wisdom!

Tax transcripts will work for your co sponsor. No need 1099s or 1040.

Without 1099s 1040s are worthless.

Also need co sponsors BC.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!
