I work both on Turkey Day and on Friday. Big deal.

Always remember, I work globally. The only sure holidays I have are Christmas and New Year's. The others are sort of floating days. I can take them if I want or I can take them on any other day of my choosing. To me it's a pretty sweet deal that essentially extends my 4 weeks vacation a year to six. ;)

Friday to Sunday is our normal weekend and Wed/Thurs are our holiday. 5 day weekend baby!!!

People work too much....

We should take more time for family and kids...I understand working to be able to live, but when you are away from your family all the time, what's the point?

I don't think we should have to work on Sunday's (Just like when I was little, I can remember nothing was open on Sunday)

No Holidays either...we all need to relax and enjoy life a little more.

I work on Friday, like most companies do in the Bay Area / Internet industry.... I only know the Google people get paid time off.... we don't :(

12-29-2008 Green Card ordered :)

Citizenship

10-15-2011 Package sent to NSC

10-17-2011 NOA Priority Date

11-29-2011 In line for interview scheduling... woohoo!

12-20-2011 Interview scheduled ...received letter 3 days later

01-24-2012 Interview & Oath

That sucks..

We have the Thursday and Friday off, paid holidays. And we have to work half-day on Wed but we'll still be paid for the day, thank God. There's just too much work since last week and I'm raring for some break.
