Finally got some good news on my visa! I went back to USEM again yesterday, flew in from cebu just after 2 days from my second finger scanning to borrow my passport so i could be sure that i could travel to HK by next week. before it was released by window 14, the guy told me that he has good news! my case was already with the consul and after some verifications (overstaying before which would have happened if i stayed 1 more day in the US!), my visa is ready to be printed! yeahhhh!!!! he asked me if i still want to borrow my passport, asked the consul if he'll allow and finally they gave it to me. i'll just have to mail it back ASAP so they could release my visa.

finally, i can almost rejoice! i left the embassy with tears! God is always good and i'm blessed! i can't wait to meet my fiancé in HK next week!! :D

i hope the rest waiting for the release of their visas will get it this week or next! let's all have faith!

Ann's visa arrived today 14 days after interview. Delbros website was useless as it was down the entire time we sought status of her visa delivery. Her son's visa contains an error (last name of mother left off). Now Ann has to make another trip to the embassy on Monday. She also has to attend CFO seminar on Monday. Flight is Tuesday morning. Her son is remaining in the Philippines until next summer. I am hoping she can leave his visa with embassy personnel for correction and have it delivered to her home in Iloilo. I can't wait to see her in Denver.

Ann talked to the Embassy and they said that leaving her last name off her sons visa would not be a problem. I am skeptical about that. Anyway, when she returns to the Philippines to get her son I will have her carry his birth certificate with her in case it becomes an issue at the airport. She returns to Manila on Monday for the CFO. Flight to Denver is early Tuesday morning. I had planned our honeymoon in September to Orlando and we leave the morning after she gets here (thought she would be here in October). I have arranged for a retired Catholic Priest to marry us on the way to the airport (civil wedding) . Ann says we cant have a honeymoon without a marriage. Is this a Philippine custom? LOL.

Thanks to all who gave support and information during this K1 visa process.

Are there any VJ'rs living in Colorado?
