Good TV Shows That Never Made It

At the moment I can't think of any show I really liked that stopped being aired after 2 seasons. I hadn't watched most of the shows mentioned so far.

I cannot for the life of me come up with the title of this show..

it was set in Hawaii

I believe it was a guy (the actor was a red head) who was either recently divorced or his wife had died and he relocated his teenage aged kids to the Island to start over..

It was a decent show..

That sounds very familiar! I think maybe I know what you are talking about...Jennifer Love Hewitt in it.

Found it! Byrds of Paradise. I don't remember if I liked it or not, just remember seeing at least one episode. That was in 1994!

All Excellent shows that I keep finding on Sci-fi ....all except Tru Calling---I'm waiting for that one though

And Daybreak had me hooked---I cna still see it on ABC.com but not the same as watching on TV

i have watched most of the first season of Jeremiah on Netflix and that seemed like a half decent show that didn't make it past 2 seasons...

I kind of liked Daybreak too but it was getting kind of confusing... but it would have been cool to find out what was going on...

another show I liked on FOX was Vanished , of course it left you with a cliffhanger and then it vanished

it seemed like last year all FOX did was put out new shows for a few episodes and then cancel them and then put out a new show

Eh, Dean! That actually lasted FOUR (was current in 1971 when we immigrated to Calgary--and was still a current show in 1973 when we shifted apt near U of C, to house near Market Mall).

Star Trek didn't make it the first time around

I miss "Raines", a show from last year with a detective played by Jeff Goldblum. He talked to the spirit of the dead person whose homicide he was trying to solve. I also miss "Forever Knight", a campy, funny Canadian serial about a vampire detective who didn't want to kill people, but help them instead. This season, a new PI series called "Moonlight" is clearly inspired by the ghost of "Forever Knight". Both vampire crime solvers are named "Nick", both drink blood they get from a blood bank and store in the frig, and both has a blonde admirer who is the only mortal who knows their secret.
