Now if you had listened to what was said and could then tell me that you do not think there is even the slightest possibility that this lecture has given you food for thought then I would accepted what you said. But uninformed judgements from intelligent people is not what I expect.

Looking at the most inept administration this country has seen in a good long while, looking at their inability to keep just about anything from leaking out, looking at the number of disgruntled functionaries that have been sacrificed to date and their urge to talk about their experiences within this White House, I don't need to look any further for proof that this administration would be plain incapable of pulling such a conspiracy off...

In plain English: They're too fcuking stupid to do it even if they wanted to.

I listened but I also watched it all live and I still believe what I saw that awful day was terrorism. I truly do not believe that the US govt chose to allow the murder of so many innocent people - whatever else we maybe, we are a civilised people generally.

I also do not believe Princess Diana was murdered.

Call me naive if you like, but someone somewhere with too much time on their hands will always find some evidence to support a conspiracy theory.

i believe it was solely a terrorist act. i have not seen any real evidence that says that the govt was behind this. However I still leave a slight possibility that they COULD have been behind it, although a very small possibility.

Fuzzness, on your idea that they "act stupid so no one will suspect", I'm going to throw a real low blow (esp. as, unlike either Reinhard, Nani or Melo, I'm entitled to do so): then Canada's governments (from Pearson to Mulroney) must have just acted totally-out-of-touch-with-Joe-Canuck so no one would suspect their agenda (gee, I thought their only agenda was legalised robbery--and that it was an open secret).

It's like the people who believe we didn't land on the moon. Faking the moon landings would have been a far more difficult and expensive feat than actually landing on the moon.

Fuzzness, on your idea that they "act stupid so no one will suspect", I'm going to throw a real low blow (esp. as, unlike either Reinhard, Nani or Melo, I'm entitled to do so): then Canada's governments (from Pearson to Mulroney) must have just acted totally-out-of-touch-with-Joe-Canuck so no one would suspect their agenda (gee, I thought their only agenda was legalised robbery--and that it was an open secret).

Stealing money (which we all know they all did, and the Harper govt won't be any different) and murdering thousands are not even in the same league.

True--especially faking the ones on the WRONG SIDE of the ball (which would require either finding or creating a large, TOTALLY DRY, ABSOLUTELY BALD Andean/Himalayan landscape with a few trillion craters of various sizes).

And Melo, I suggest strongly that you read the Irving Katz novel "Surprise Party", paying particular attention to the part where the Northwestern University degree is proven beyond a doubt to be a fake.

Melo, I've seen some pretty interesting footage which leaves me in something of a quandry. As a prior physics major, I find the thermodynamic analysis particularly interesting. I'm keeping an open mind on the causes - as has been said, it's a little late now.

I guess my major "sticking point" in the whole thing is whether I can bring myself to contemplete that Bush's government is capable of such atrocities against its own people.

That's how I feel about it.

Bush is a genius he and Cheney were able to convince 3,000 plus people to conspire 9/11 in total secrecy and then convince the 3,000 plus people to go in to the witness protection program all in the span of less than 8 months. Of course the bigger genius is how these two were able to convince only all the Democrats in two counties in Florida to vote multiple times for all candidates but Democrats. Man they will go down as the most cunning, intelligent, and ballsy presidents in all time!

I can no way think that my government is behind 9/11. I remember to this day watching the horrific events on tv at work. We had employees with family members in those buildings and was watching as the buildings collapsed. No matter how wrong I think our government is run or how they do things do I believe that they would be behind such horrific attacks.

This is just my thought but no tapings or crazy theory will change my mind.
