Hi! My fiance is Colombian and we plan on marrying in February and starting the process to get him into the states. We are marrying in Colombia. Does anyone have any information on whether they allow DCF in Colombia or will we have to file through the US? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Yes they do offer DCF. http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/inde...&cty=Bogota

As will all consulates the US citizen must demonstrate that they have resided in the consular district for more than 6 months.

I considered the idea of DCF but could only afford living with my fiancee for 3 months while paying American bills in the States.

If DCF is your chosen route, be prepared to ante-up the time required to live there, file, interview, and keep your US finances in order.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.
