Phone number to check case status?

Yeah, I'm starting up. Ha ha. Shon was nice enough to give me the number for DOS but all I get is some guy's voice mail. Does anyone have the number I can call just to see what's going on with our case? The Embassy isn't responding. Thank you.

DOS will only tell you if the embassy has updated your case. They will not tell you anything other than if the case is still in AR/AP. I can give you the number but they changed the way to contact an operator. PHones are only answered from 8 -6 Monday thru Friday.

Whigging out...lol...I'm glad to see that mine isn't the only one that "wigs out". Drives me insane....he thinks I should call everyday!

I don't know why I didn't think of this before, but yes, call the DOS. Some of them are helpful and some aren't, but hopefully it will give you some idea of where you stand on your case.
