Bring that up to ewok, unless you want to try and help the immigrants when you cant read what they are saying, by all means go for it :) more power to you.

But that's my point. There are enough VJers here that even if I don't speak Spanish/Italian/German/Russian/Whatever, someone else is bound to. Seems to me that's what this community is all about.

Anyway, apologies to the OP and everyone else for de-railing the thread. Stepping aside now. :)

since i did move the thread to its proper place, there was no need to continue on anyway.

I'd like to request that next time, you post a note on the thread stating that you are moving it and why you are moving it and that's it. I felt that the banter was unnecessary and inappropriate as a representative of the site. It would be more helpful if you did the job you volunteered for and limited the arguing and attitude. Thank you.

No, you didn't and I'm trying to bring that to your attention as a site volunteer. Mags posts that the rule is "A" and because of rule "A" she is moving the topic. That's it. You actually didn't do that. Charles indicated what the rule was, you didn't. And after Eric and Teresa stated that the poster couldn't move the topic themselves, then u indicated you would move it. My point is, your approach failed in its intention and created tension unnecessarily. In the future, you should consider handling it more appropriately, if you intend to continue to volunteer in this position.

P.S. my input is most certainly valuable as a contributing member of this site. Something else you might want to note for future reference.

I responded before you edited. I read the whole forum and wondered why you were so argumentative rather than handling it the way I've seen Mags and Lal handle it. Their manner avoids unnecessary arguing and tension. Yours created it. I apologize that you found my comment to be an attack. It was meant to be helpful criticism so that you can improve. I hope you can take it as such.

no offence but this thread is english :)

first time i mentioned it, giving the OP to ask question in english

"ok a bit more clear then.....threads in public are to be in ENGLISH"

second time, hoping OP would ask in english

mox then decided to be normal and attack therefore my final advice on ENGLISH IN THE FORUM was

"yes, seems stupid as this is an ENGLISH speaking forum

im moving the thread "

i gave the OP 3 chances instead of just moving it, i know what i was doing, its not my first day doing it.

and now id appreciate you not telling me how to do something i know how to do. thanks :)

ok well firstly im not Mags or Lal, i also was ONLY aruging with MOX, not the OP or anyone else. MOX decided to be rude as usual and i responded. He gave the wrong info and i corrected him. thats all there was to that.

i was not being rude or arguing with the OP. i made my statement 3 times for the OP so she/he could have the chance to ask in english, then i moved the thread, that was all to the OP. Mox decided he wanted to make everything difficult, that is one reason charles stepped in.

i apologize for being rude to you too bassi and zainab

I'm not going to engage in public trashing with you Ionescu. I tried to reply to your PM but you are refusing replies. Interesting moderation tactic. Let me know if you'd like to have an actual adult conversation.

 I agree, and just wanted to add that if someone will take the time to point out that a rule is being broken why not take the time to inform whoever is in charge, that there is a thread that needs to be moved to the right place.

An organizer does not need to inform a moderator to move a thread, it was done by me, and i advised 3 times before moving it why it was moved.

I believe the issue is that should you choose to post in a language other than english (at this time anyway) your posts will not be moderated, and will be moved to the appropriate forum, since this was clarified, and done, I think the topic can get back on track now. Thanks!

Well, I had no idea you were an Organizer around here! If that's the case, then you as an organizer should have moved the thread since you noticed the 'language rule' was violated. You waited quite a while to actually move it! I mean what did you expect the OP to do after you informed her she broke a rule?

Sorry if I dont know the rules about moderators and organizers around here, and if I wasn't aware of your title! Geez! You are making more fuzz about which are and aren't your duties instead of actually just get them done.
