Hi,

I Need some help here. I heard that I could send both I-130 and I-129F together. And yes I want to choose a K-3 route so please don't tell me that CR-1/IR-1 is better visa. I've been getting different answers on where to file. I live in Texas. And It says to file I-130 to Texas Service Center. Now Can i send them both I-130 and -129F together to Texas Service Center or no? I called the USCIS office, but the person who i talked to didn't know much about it guess. I'm really frustrated all of my forms are done. And I don't know what to do. Please anyone tell me the correct information. Thanks.

The directions state to send the I-130 and wait for the NOA1 before sending in the I-129f. But many VJers sent both forms together to CSC successfully this summer. I have only read of one person getting there I-129f returned. Going through the Texas Service Center may or may not work, but if they only forward your I-130 you have not lost any time. It seems worth the chance for the amount of time saved if they accept them together.

Naturalization

3/23/14 - N400 package sent to Phoenix

3/27/14 - N400 package delivered

04/29/14 - biometrics date

07/01/14 - interview date

Send them both to California. Texas doensn't process them anymore.

Send two complete petitions, leaving nothing out of either. Just put them both together in the same package and explain what you are doing in the cover letter. I recommend a separate cover letter for each petition package.

Look at the link in my signature. This contains some details about how I filed both petitions together. Please keep in mind that I sent these before the fee change so my fee amounts are different. There is no longer a fee for the I-129F (K-3) when you have already filed an I-130. Also, send it to CSC as Pushbrk mentioned.

I received NOA1 for both petitions in about a month. This will likely take longer now, but you don't have to wait for NOA1 on the I-130 to send the I-129F. This should save you a month or two.

You suppose to send it to Texas Service Center, and they would transfer it to the Califonia service center. I don't think you could send directly to the Califonia service center while being in Texas. It's is true that TSC does not process I-130 or K3, but you should still send it the TSC and have them sent it to the CSE. Unless the instruction have changed, it also mentioned in the instructions for the I-130. People have tried sending both together to the TSC and they transferred it to the CSC and got the NOA1 from the CSC. You could try it if you want.

I hope this helps .

Pushbrk is right, you need to submit them together. But it's your call. If I were you I WOULD NOT send them separately, or you just would lose time. If I could go back in time, I would have done it.
