I'm just curious if there are any other car guys/gals in here. Just something to pass the time of course.

What kind of car do you own and what makes it special?

Any timeslips from the 1/4 or 1/8 mile or dyno sheets, or is it more of a cruiser/show car?

While I own a couple fords, I can appriate any car that is done nicely or is dang quick.

My daily driver is a 97 mustang GT, basically stock, but a very cool burnt orange color from the factory.

My toy is an 88 4cyl mustang, turbo. I have a lot of fun with it. In the heat of the summer, I ran a 13.7 in the quarter, but that was before switching to E85 and some other small changes. I'm shooting for 12s come spring when the tracks open up again.

I own a 1970 ford pinto runs poor aways break down on the freeway and for a back up i also have a 1985 Yugo leaks oil.

we have a 1991 honda civic hatch that we recently bought that we have great plans for (motor swap first on the list more than likely!) Just gotta get the money to get started of course! Right now its got the original motor siitting at 210,000 miles... it runs at least... lol

ETA: our tax refund money is already earmarked for the B16A motor swap (160hp!)

I don't know if my husband can be considered a gear head but he is into older cars.

His daily drive is a 1979 Ranchero and during nice weather (not too cold, nor too hot) he takes out his 1969 Pontiac Le Mans convertible.

His father gave him his 1969 Mercury Cyclone (428cj) but it has sat for a long time in a barn in NE so it's in dire need of restoration. We're working on getting that moved to NC so that we can restore it.

You gotta love the classics

I've always though a pinto with a stout motor would be awsome. They are so light, it wouldn't take much. The 2.3 turbo from the 88 stang listed above would drop right in, and it's making about 300-350hp at the crank. That'd be down right frightening in a pinto!

I have a 2001 Audi S4 biturbo I bought about 6 years ago, mostly stock except for a chip boosting the turbos. Very fast car.

I'm looking at getting the S5 when it shows up next year.

My second favorite car was my old Chevy Malibu. Chevelles are awesome.
