With a Trillion

I would make sure there's no more Hunger in this world we are living, no more malnutrition, Provide Clean drinking water for those folks in the under developped countries, without access to basic higyene stuff, things that we take for Granted. I would die knowing i did my share to save or died trying to save humanity.

If you had a trillion dollars . . ., what else could you buy instead of a war?

well humpfff i guess i can consider invading argentina. :protest:

Hubby and I would move back to Brazil, buy Argentina and name it Brazil of America

This joke is not funny. It's offensive, and please don't use it again.

Saludos,

Caro

Caro and nessa... you guys need to have a catfight over this.

I'm glad you find it funny. Because I sure don't.

Saludos,

Caro

Fill me in here, is there some kind of Brazilian-Argentinian rivalry?

 you need to see their soccer games :P

Is that the reason for your joke?

Saludos,

Caro

I'm pretty sure it's all a funny joke as Brazil and Argentina are very friendly towards each other, I actually think they're the most friendly countries of South America (in comparison with the relationship between other south american countries and Brazil).

Make no mistake - the next President will exploit the ignorance of the American people to justify spending of his/her own based on the fallacy that war funds are lying around, just waiting to be diverted into something more "worthy". That the Iraq war is based entirely on leverage is lost on most.

I'm not so sure:

Pentagon is left scrambling to pay for war

Washington - Congress's failure last week to agree whether and how to fund the war

puts the onus on the Pentagon, at least for now, to find a way to cover expenses in

Iraq, potentially forcing the Defense Department to close dozens of domestic military

bases and imperil the livelihoods of tens of thousands of defense workers.

[snip]

My husband's department in the US Dept of Justice had a sizable chunk of budget clawed back for war funding.

I'm very sorry you had a bad experience with this argentine guy. Every country has it's jerks, and Argentina is not the exception. But I can asure you that Argentina is also full of wonderfull, good, intelligent, fun people. I hope one day you'll give my beautiful home country a second chance.

Exactly!! that's why I don't get it, we call each other "paises hermanos" (sibling countries) :crying:

Viva Argentina....

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Caro, I'd buy Argentina because I think Argentina has a lot to offer, it is a beautiful country. Take it as a compliment, not a bashing.
