Transcription for K3?

Hi all,

I made my medical examination in April 2th from 2006. My question is: Do I need to make a copy of I 693 and send together with my AOS package or Do I need to take the I 693 sheet to a surgeon complete another for me?

I want to send my package in December 20th. Will I have some problems if my medical examination arrives there after april 2th?

Civil Surgeon should do it for you... Go to USCIS website to locate one in your area.

If your medical exam was truly in 2006 then you need a new exam as they are only good for one year.

If the OP had a medical done on April 2nd, 2006, doesn't he/she have to have a complete medical exam done because it's been over a year since the one in his/her country?

Full medical will be needed since the one for K-3 is more than a year old.

I wouldn't be so certain as the OP's post and timeline information conflict... That is why an inquisitive response about the medical date is better in this situation than a definitive response telling the OP to simply get a new medical.

You say 4/2/06 for medical, however your signature says 04/11/2007 Medical exame completed? Which is it?

If less than a year since visa medical, then you only need to get vaccinations transfered to a supplement, this comes up very often on VJ search for I-693A

You take the vaccination record to a US Civil Surgeon, and they transfer the record to the I-693A not you.

The civil surgeon transfered my wifes shot record from her vaccination book to a supplement for $35 after I insisted that all we needed was the I-693A supplement per I-485 directions. (I showed him page 3 and pointed out paragraph 8) NOTE: the I-485 directions have not been updated for K-3/4 visas, but this applies to all K-Visas.

I`m sorry, it is my fault! I typed wrong the year, the correct is 2007.

After I go to civil surgeon to transcript my medical examination, after I have this ready, Could I send together with my AOS package? Or send the AOS package first and after when request I send my medical transcription?

If you have it ready by the time you will send the AOS package, why not include it then? You wouldn't want to wait for an RFE just for it...

You only get vaccination record transfered by the civil surgeon. The Medical record is already at USCIS, you gav it to them in that brown envelope turned in at the POE.
