Good morning everyone...I hope that all are having a great day. I am hoping for a uneventful week at work and since I am cooking Thanksgiving Dinner this year...I guess I need to do some shopping!! :mellow: I am hoping to have the letter from my RFE (keepiog my fingers crossed)

I hope for some more good news this week for everyone...and I just wanted to thank everyone here for all the support and information...It has been very helpful for me during this process....have a great day everyone..... (F) Melinda

I wanted to say Happy Monday everybody! I hope everybody has a wonderful Thanksgiving and finds time to relax and look back on all of the blessings in our life.

Melinda, I hope you get your RFE soon so that you can get it taken care of. I can only imagine how nerve wracking waiting on something like that is.

LOL it's like the happiest non-holiday Monday of the year -- 3 day week, looking ahead to a 4-day weekend..... :dance: :dance: :dance: and today at noon-thirty the company puts on a special catered Thanksgiving luncheon for us -- turkey & dressing and all that :dance::thumbs::thumbs:

It is Monday. blech...

I can't get over the sinking feeling that I'm either supposed to be off today OR I'm supposed to go in early... If early..I'm already late .... If off, then thats really gonna suck! I will call my boss in a few minutes to see...

Happy Monday...We are having turkey dinner on Friday since George works Thursdays......George has never made a turkey, nor have i, so im off to scope some good turkey and dressing recipes.

All is well.

June 11 05-Married George, civil ceremony in New York

May 30 08-Baby Joshua was born

Jan 15-Back to NY we go...

May 10-made decision not to go back overseas.

July 10-filed for divorce

Jan 11-Divorce final

July 11-1st trip to take Josh to see George

Mar 12-2nd trip to take Josh to see George

the cat was pretty cute. Called the boss and I am supposed to work today..uck.. It is ok though, I only work half a day tomorrow..off WEDNESDAY and Thursday..then only half a day Friday

2 DAY WORK WEEK FOR ME!!! Just today and tomorrow, our building is closed Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and I am sooooo excited!!! YAY!!!

May 11 '09 - Case Approved 10 yr card in the mail

June - 10 yr card recieved

Feb. 19, 2010 - N-400 Application sent to Phoenix Lockbox

April 3, 2010 - Biometrics

May 17,2010 - Citizenship Test - Minneapolis, MN

July 16, 2010- Retest (writing portion)

October 13, 2010 - Oath Ceremony

Journey Complete!

walmart has us managers working full 8 hours for Thanksgiving :( im working 730-430pm then the next day for the blitz im working 5am til 11am... :no: so much for celebrating Thanksgiving... it will be a quick trip to a friends house for dinner and off to bed...

Amy, I was thinking about some things that are quick to bring or fix... deviled eggs (my favorite), macaroni cassarole, fruit salad, or green bean cassarole... IM hungry now ! :lol:
