Mini,

I'm not quite sure ,either, if it means that your fiance is required to be there with you for the interview or not.

But I think that it would be a good idea to have him there to attend the interview together with you, if there is any chance at all for him to come out. Maybe the embassy wants to see your commitment to each other, who knows?

Yes, tickets are expensive, but it will be a one time investment for a very important circumstance. Plus, you'll have him there for the celebration afterwards, once you're approved! ;)

Personally, I think he should be there, too. It is too important to take it easy, and you already have been waiting for ages, haven't you?

Good luck,Mini!!

Hey Mini. I don't think your fiance is required to be there, but I think it would be best if he was there. The Guyana Embassy is not easy to get things out of and I think that it would be to your advantage if your fiance was with you for the interview. My uncle flew down for the second interview when my aunt was still there and she says that they treated her differently when they knew he was also there. So, who knows.

Good Luck with your new interview. I'm sending positive vibes your way!

Thanks alot , tomorrow i'm doing my police clearance which should only take about 3 days to get & tuesday i'm doing my medical which i can get same day at the hospital & i already have a new birth certificate for him which i applied for early this year & also I already filled out the papers they send me in the package, My parents keep telling me that they think Robby should come & I also have that feeling for him to be here with me when I return at the Embassy because the CO at the embassy is always harsh towards me everytime I go in there for Interview...I don't know why & I don't care how much I have to go through just to be with him cause I Love Him Dearly, I just don't know if they will grant me the visa because it looks like they unsure , anyways i'm trying my best to convince him that he have to be here with me because I want all this punishment come to an end .

The letter that I received didn't state anything about him being here with me when I return to the embassy but just to make sure , he email the embassy , so hopefully we will get answer/reply from them tomorrow if he should come home or not ,but if he do come home to go in there with me, the embassy would normally allow USC to enter the embassy at anytime, i will keep everyone posted , thanks very much for all your help .

Hi Mini,

If I recall you interviewed almost a year ago, they made you wait like 8 months for the interview with your fiance. You went together then after that they send people out to investigate your family and neigbors. So now you get this letter that saids come in ANY Wed. Provided you bring them the correct info and your passport you will get the visa. Your fiance doesn't need to be there. He already went they sent people to check things out - all was fine and that is why they sent you the letter. Yes, Guyana embassy is VERY DIFFICULT but they only say "they may grant you a visa," as that is based upon you providing the proper documents. That is my personal belief which is based on what me and my now husband went through and my 50 + emails that I had with the Guyanese embassy in the past. Additionally, my husband needed to go on a Wed to pick up his passport (they held it at the embassy for 5 months!) So relax and go by yourself. If you ask around with enough people who went through Guyana you will hear that at this stage you are getting the visa provided that all the paperwork is correct and presented to them. I hope that I settled your concerns.

Hey Mini -

I think Robby should definitely go with you to the embassy and he's going to be there Tues nite anyway. You can't lose anything by having him go with you. I am so happy for you - I am going to pray that you really do get your visa on Wed. Sorry I didn't get to meet up in Guyana but look now, you will be here sooner than you think

love u
