We submitted our petition (2nd) to Vermont Service center on March 28 and until now we haven't received anything from them. The first was with the help of a lawyer, which we never received any NOA1 or case number status. Is it ok if I just send the petition here from the Philippines??I will just asked my fiance to send me all the documents from him??Any suggestions on our case??Since usually i can see that vermont is the fastest im wondering why we didnt receive any email NOA1 at least.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but looking at the dates I still think it's very possible that you just haven't received your NOA1 yet, and that it's still coming. Also, (again, correct me) If I remember right, I believe the petition MUST be mailed by the USC inside the United States...best wishes to you;I hope you hear something soon. M.

ok thank you for the encouragement. When is the timeline that we would think about the whole process???we wait until this week???I guess I am feeling edgy about this since the first time we submitted it(sept 05) we didnt received any information NOA1 or even our case status that is with the help of the lawyer.Im getting frustrated and discouraged about this, i know you understand how we are feeling right now.Since i can see that a lot from vermont are getting their NOA1 within the week or at least within 2 weeks. We are praying and hoping that this week we will get a NOA1 from them.

I would wait out this week anyway..others may tell you differently, but that's what I would do. It took a long time for us to get our NOA1 for Adjustment of Status(which is down the road a long time for you, but just saying..) I do definitely know what you're saying tho..you just wanna KNOW..esp. since the last one didn't come...wait it out this week if you can, and hopefully I'll be reading a post that you got it! :)

PS..just a friendly reminder, that you'll get a lot more help in these forums in general if you go to my controls at the top of the page, click on edit signature, and fill in a timeline for yourself..or just fill in your timeline period. It gives people a good idea on how long it's taking you, where you're from(different parts of the country and different countries in general later in the process have very different timetables) and they can offer better advice. Good luck to you!! :) M.

Thank you for the encouragement.Yes I would very much like to fill down our timeline but as of now I guess I don't have the motivation to put it there.I hope this week we will receive the NOA and after that I will have at least the guts to write down our timeline. Please include us in your prayers!!! Thank you very much for the advice.

Did you send a payment (or your lawyer?) Was it cashed or not? If cashed that would mean you will receive your NOA1 soon (or your lawyer might if he used his address.) If no payments were made, then you can go ahead and submit another set - why did you hire a lawyer to begin with? Why not ask him/her what happened? Good Luck
