I need clarification on this...Is it true that Birth Certificate and CENOMAR printed on security papers valid only for 6 months? I got those copies from the NSO Manila last May and, the lady told me that if i'll use it for visa purposes, it shouldn't exceed 6 months or i may request another copy from them. She further stated that their office change the security paper every 6 months. What's the truth behind this. I hate wasting my time on a long queue at NSO and spending more just for this.

Whoever says you can't love someone online is a fool. I love you DUKE !!!

yes, it is true... it is an unwritten rule at US embassy in phils that all docs should be less than 6 months old at submission..... If you give anything older than 6 months old it can lead to document verification...... this is true especially for the NBI clearance etc...

With NBI Clearance I heard that it's the general rule but I don't know if that's the case with Birth Certificate and Cenomar. Maybe with the Cenomar but gosh, don't tell me I'll get another copy again. That's another P700 for BC and Cenomar if I'll order that online. :-( I requested a copy of both in advance last May also. :-(

So this means another pain in the neck for us. Request for BC would just take 1 day but for CENOMAR that would take around 3 weeks :crying: ...this is giving me a headache girls.

Wow, I thought consul won't perceive the color paper coding of NSO. So this means that I will go to NSO main again to get my BC. This is really bad for those BC has annotation (need to go to NSO main just to get a copy of annotated BC).
