Anyone get messages via VJ?

Same here... have received one PM asking to IM on Yahoo. Told him that I didn't have a Yahoo acct... it ended there.

I made the error of putting my i.m. info in my profile along with my email addies. one member of this board but a different country/forum contacted me on both msn and yahoo. seemed harmless enough until he started asking personal stuff and requesting pics of me......didnt feel right so I blocked him. I also got a few emails from some random person asking me to help him find a wife and his list of preferences regarding such an acquisition. i mailed back saying i wasnt in the biz of matchmaking and vj isnt a dating site. every now and then he mails me to apologize for not keeping in contact LMAO and checking the progress of my search for him. I just delete em. friggin freaks everywhere I tell ya. i guess at the end of the day its just instant messenger and email and its not like theyre stopping by to visit in person .....thank gawd. oh well such is life.....its good for a laugh i spose.

on yim you can set it to block people not on your list. other im types may or may not have the same feature.

that's the reason why i have mine listed like i do - anyone writing to those listed may get you someone on the other end but it ain't me
