I keep getting random people who want to IM with me... I find that somewhat disturbing. Perhaps I just have the creeps or my spidey senses are tingling...

11/14/2008: online case status not updated since filing of AOS in July 2008

01/20/2009: Received another RFE for Affadavit of Support Info

02/02/2009: Responded to RFE with brand new AOS based on 2008 tax return (if that doesn't shut them up, dunno what will)

02/19/2009: EAD card received in mail (no updates on Online Case Status ever made)

02/23/2009: AP received (again, no online updates)

02/26/2009: Received interview appointment letter for 4/6/09

04/06/2009: AOS approved for unconditional GC

04/21/2009: GC received

Um yeah..I had one when I first started my account. I think he looks for girls on this sight all the time and IM's any girl who he sees has a new account. He ended up getting creepy and I had to put him on ignore.

May 07/07 IV bill arrives in mail

May 08/08 Sent back IV bill

May 21 NVC generates DS-230

June 4/07 Mailed DS-230 via overnight delivery.

June 7/07 DS-230 entered into the system

June 18/07 Case Complete!

July 25/07 Medical

September 4/07 Contacted State Senator Re: MTL backlog

Dec.6/07 INTERVIEW..... APPROVED!!!! (After being kept awake all night in dirty clothes standing outside my hotel because Air Canada lost my luggage and my hotel started on fire. Meh, sleep is highly over-rated anyways.)

Dec.18/07 Moved to the US

Moved to the U.S. to be with my baby on July 19th, 2008 on a K1 visa!!!!

The world is full of all kinds of weird and wonderful people, isn't it? :lol: I don't have my IM info in my profile so I don't get random crazies. I mean, seriously..... how psychotic do you need to be in order to randomly stalk members on an immigration site? Just out of curiousity.... do they talk about immigration or are they just out for entertainment?

I did too...and I remember who it was. He IM'd me one night on Yahoo and said he wanted to ask questions about the K1. Trying to be helpful I answered one or two questions then he started asking me questions about my husband and our private life. That's when I put his %&*#% on ignore. I shoulda reported him to Captain. Never happened again and he still posts on here, as far as I know.

I made the error of putting my i.m. info in my profile along with my email addies. one member of this board but a different country/forum contacted me on both msn and yahoo. seemed harmless enough until he started asking personal stuff and requesting pics of me......didnt feel right so I blocked him. I also got a few emails from some random person asking me to help him find a wife and his list of preferences regarding such an acquisition. i mailed back saying i wasnt in the biz of matchmaking and vj isnt a dating site. every now and then he mails me to apologize for not keeping in contact LMAO and checking the progress of my search for him. I just delete em. friggin freaks everywhere I tell ya. i guess at the end of the day its just instant messenger and email and its not like theyre stopping by to visit in person .....thank gawd. oh well such is life.....its good for a laugh i spose.
