i am not sure what to do ... my fiance should have been here mid january but we had some issues with his passport and interview ... everything has been corrected and they said they had to do aministrative review which they had up to 6 mos to do well the embassy told my fiance to email a month after his last interview but they have not responded yet also my attorney has emailed them and they are not answering him either. my fiance went back to the embassy this week and they told him to come back in june. my attorney tells me to call my local state senator. this all makes no sense what do i do

you need to make contact with your Congressman 1st.

secondly you need to call the DEPARTMENT OF STATE.

find out the status of your fiancees case. make sure you have the

case number and his birthdate handy.

the number is :202 663-1225 - options 1,0

the reason why you are calling the department of state is to find out

1...if your case is at the embassy or the Department of state STILL

you also need to find out.

2...how many security checks are PENDING!!!!

the department of state people wont really make it easy by giving you answers but they will give you bits and pieces..

the AP/AR process can be very long.

from 19days - 2 years < this is the longest I have seen to date >
