25/31 (city/highway mpg) automatic and 26/33 manual. The difference isn't that big, so I decided to get the automatic one. It's a 4 cylinder. It's a car to last and serve its purpose which will be driving to and from work mostly.

Is it brand new or pre owned. Have a co worker who drive a 4x4 SUV that get 11 miles to gallon lol spends $100 a week on gas lol. I changed my mind already sticking with small cars cost less on insurance too.

Nice wheels have a happy car payments time lol. Thank god i have 2 years left on my loan.

I've been working since may and saving money so I could afford a car. Of course I needed his help with finding a good one, with the loan and, even though I'll be paying, put on both our names so I could have a veteran's license plate

We discussed before that since the Camaro isn't safe to drive on snow and we can't rely on going to work together and having only the 4WD truck, we'd get myself a car.

So I'm really happy. It was my second choice (I would go with a Toyota, I wanted a Rav4, but with my paycheck it would be wiser to afford a Vibe instead - I think Matrix is really ugly, so it wasn't an option, btw).

Cute car.

But you gave up a b*tchin' Camaro???? :(

It's a 2008 especially ordered according to my specifications (all the available features I wanted, like sunroof, sound system, aluminium wheel, etc). I had to wait 2 months for it, btw.

We're keeping the Camaro. The Camaro is our main car. We will keep using it to go places together and hubby will be driving to work. I really love to drive the Camaro but I don't like to be on the passenger's seat. I'm a driver, you know? And hubby is the kind of person that bitches about the way you drive and that drives me crazy.

That's another reason I'm really glad I am buying my own car so he will not be able to b!tch about my driving

nessas_vibe.jpg

will have better pics tomorrow, the light was fading fast when we started taking pics.

tomorrow i'll be doing some more yard work and coming up with another good thread idea

:P Give credit to Stacy for figuring that you were taking us all for a ride. Congratulations! I used to have a Matrix - it was a great car...until it got reposessed.

May I ask...why did you choose the Vibe over the Matrix? It's still a Toyota under the hood, but I believe GM handles the chasis, molding and some parts of the interior.

onstar only with the vibe. the above one was made in the usa too

eta: nessa's first new car btw :dance:

and sorry stacy if i made you to search for vibes

I'm sorry if I ruined your thread.

I saw the angle you were playing and tried to go with it- but I really wanted to know about the car. :)
